"You've misunderstood. That's not what I meant," Debra explained.
"I think that's exactly what you meant," Drake interrupted. "You can forget about it. Since I've already agreed to let Marion recuperate here, you're not backing out. None of you are leaving until Marion fully recovers." He turned to Kale and ordered, "Go prepare rooms for Miss and Mr. Eaton. We're not short of guest rooms." His gaze shifted to Debra, his tone dropping to a menacing warning. "Make sure they behave themselves in my house." Debra reassured him, "Don't worry. We're all nice people here." Liza rolled her eyes, uninterested in the exchange. As long as there was good food and fun, she couldn't care less about the rest.

It had already been days, and Debra still hadn't gone back. Juan must be worried sick.
While Garland wrestled with his thoughts, he suddenly felt a gaze on him. Looking up, he met Debra's smiling eyes.
A chill ran down his spine. He couldn't shake the feeling that she had found out something. 'Perhaps she stays here for other reasons as well, besides Marion's recovery.' "What's wrong?" Liza asked, noticing his daze.
Garland snapped back, "Uh, nothing." Once Kale led the siblings to their rooms, Drake glanced at Debra. "Are you keeping them here to watch them or let them watch you?" Debra tilted her head. "You noticed? Surprise." "Do you think I'm stupid?" Drake huffed. "It's so obvious." Debra's smile didn't waver. "It's probably got nothing to do with Liza. From the start, it's been Fermin keeping tabs on me. I haven't figured out why yet, but he's never tried to harm me. So, I figured I'd play along and see what he's after." She gave them a chance to leave, but Fermin insisted on staying. She would like to see who was spying on her through him.
"Don't flatter yourself," Drake

"As you said, Fermin can spy on me, but this man doesn't feel like then ruthless successor everyone fears," Debra replied. Drake raised an eyebrow. "Are you doubting his identity?"
"When I first met him, I was fooled by his demeanor. But lately, watching him and Liza at the Potter Mansion, their actions don't add up: Fermin NO doesn't act anything like the cold, decisive man I met back then.
Something is off about him," Debra said, glancing at him. "Don't tellyou haven't noticed anything unusual."
