Chapter 258 Get Set Up

As soon as the man left, the girl held by Samara seemed to have lost all her strength. She sat on the

ground and cried.

Samara didn’t expect that the girl would sit on the ground, so she could only squat down. “Well,

sobbing is not going to help. Where do you live? I can drive you back”

Hearing Samara’s words, the girl stopped crying and gazed at Samara for a while. “Thank you, I–I live

in this hotel, but I don’t dare to stay here any longer. My luggage and passport are still in my room. So I

need to take my luggage. Can you go with me?”

Samara had not seen such a miserable person for a long time. It was rare for her to feel sympathy. She

reached out and helped the girl up. “Let’s go.”

After entering the elevator, the girl was sobbing with her head down.

Samara looked at her and couldn’t help but smile. “Fortunately, there is no one else in the elevator.

Otherwise, people would think that I did something bad to you.”

Hearing Samara’s words, the girl looked at Samara with embarrassment. “I’m sorry. I, I just, couldn’t

help it.”

Samara took a tissue from her handbag and handed it to the girl. “Alright, don’t cry. Don’t be so trusting

anymore.”

The girl took the tissue and looked at Samara gratefully. “Thank you. If I hadn’t met you, I really

wouldn’t know what to do…”

Samara snorted. “What are you afraid of? We live in a society of laws. You can just call the police.”

“They took away my phone.”

Samara paused for a moment. “It’s okay now. You don’t have to be afraid.”

“Thank you. You are really kind to me.”

This was the first time Samara had been praised for being kind. She could not help but laugh. “I’m

normally not so kind.”

Samara was not that warm–hearted. If the girl had not pounced on Samara, Samara might not have

helped her.

The girl wiped her tears and did not reply.

The elevator stopped soon. Samara walked out and turned to look at the girl. “Do you have the room

card with you?”

The girl nodded. “I brought the room card with me when I ran. My passport is in the room…”

Samara smiled, “You are quite smart.”

The girl gradually calmed down, probably because Samara was by her side. The two of them quickly

walked to the room the girl mentioned.

The girl took out her room card but did not dare to open the door. She only looked at Samara timidly.

This was the first time Samara had seen such a timid person. The girl was even timider than Gisselle.

Samara helplessly took the room card from the girl. “What are you afraid of? Don’t tell me they are still

waiting for you in the room.”

Samara took the room card and swiped it on the doorknob. The door opened with a beep sound.

Samara pushed the door open and glanced inside. She turned back to look at the girl. “There’s no one

inside. You…”

Before she could finish speaking, the girl who had been crying suddenly pushed her into the room.

The girl’s timid expression had now turned fierce.

Samara staggered. A person appeared behind the door. She was caught off guard and was held by the

man from behind. Before

she could react, the man had thrown something into her mouth.

Then the man pushed her forward hard and Samara fell to the ground. When she stood up, the door

was closed with a bang.

Samara stood up and pulled the door handle. As expected, the door was locked.

Sure enough, it was hard to be kind.

Eventually, she fell into a trap.

Samara Tanted to take out her phone, only to find that the phone was in her handbag, which had been

taken away at some point.

She couldn’t help but frown as she walked inside. Only then did she realize that there was a person

lying on the bed. Unexpectedly, it was her ex–husband!
