Girl Get Ride 95

Chapter 95

Wendy was the kind of girl who seemed like a gentle breeze might knock her over, and in that moment, she was

so scared she ducked behind Allison for cover.

David, spotting Allison's good looks, decided she was worth his attention. He wouldn't let her leave and insisted

she give him her number. He even threw out ssleazy comments that made her skin crawl.

Allison remembered being absolutely terrified. There were tons of students milling around the school gate, but

not a single one stepped up to lend a hand. Back then, she hadn't yet picked up any self-defense moves and felt

like she couldn't physically stand up to David.

In her desperation, she decided to bluff, telling David she had an older brother who was quite the tough guy. If

David dared to mess with her, her brother would make him regret it. If memory served, she even made a call

Joshua.

"Hey, Joshua, didn't you say you'd break the legs of anyone who tried to bully me? Well, someone's doing just

that now, so hurry up and get here.

"There's a whole bunch of them. My friend and | are just two little girls; we can't handle this.

"Where am I? Oh, at Oak Lake High School."

After the call, Allison kept hyping up her 'brother.' She painted him as a gang leader with a hundred strong

followers, a man skilled in fighting who never lost a brawl. "I'm telling you, if you lay a finger on me, my brother

will make you regret it!” she warned.

David swaggered a couple of steps closer, smirking, “Oh really? Then why don't you call your brother over? Let's

see if he's as tough as you say."

"You..." Allison puffed up her cheeks in frustration, glaring at him. "You're just an idiot!"

At the time, Joshua was already in college, and Lakeside College was over twenty kilometers away from Wendy's

school. Even if Joshua had left the second he got the call, he wouldn't have made it in time. Allison didn't really

expect him to swoop in and save the day. The call was just to scare David off.

However, just a few minutes after the call, the vice-principal and dean from Wendy's school showed up in a hurry

and dragged David and his gang away.

Later, Allison heard from Wendy that David had never been seen around school again after that day. That

incident also pushed Allison to start learning sself-defense skills.

As she reminisced, Allison took a sip of her fruity drink and turned to Joshua. “Did you call the vice-principal and

dean that day?"

Joshua's eyes, dark and deep, gave nothing away. “Yeah.”

Allison pressed on, “Did you go after David later?”

Brian perked up, grinning ear to ear. "Oh, he did, alright! Joshua really gave it to him that day. You should've seen

it-David nearly didn't make it. But he had it coming for talking trash like that. | was there, and trust me, he

deserved every bit."

Brian recalled that day clearly. When Joshua got Allison's call, he was shooting hoops with Brian. As soon as he

hung up, Joshua looked dead serious. Without a word, he ditched the basketball and took off. Brian caught up,

got the lowdown, and the two of them drove twenty kilometers to find David.

David was clueless about Joshua's background, he was all cocky and even taunted Joshua to his face, "That girl's

just my type. Smooth skin, a waist that looks like it could really move..... Someday, she'll showjust how well

it moves."

David's sleazy comments turned into a scream mid-sentence as Joshua's fists made sure he swallowed the rest

of his filthy words. Joshua, like an enraged lion, went after David with precision and fury. David couldn't

put up a fight and was quickly on the receiving end of a serious beatdown.

No one was sure how long it went on, but eventually, David's screams died down, and he lay still on the ground.

Brian, recalling the scene, shook his head. "Man, that was something. | was scared out of my wits. | tried to pull

him off but almost got clobbered myself. When Joshua was done, his fists were bloody, and his face was smeared

too. He looked like a ghost. They had to rush David to the hospital, and from what | heard, he was laid up for

months before he got out.”
