Chapter 1521

She had always underestimated Fiona's strength, or rather, she had

underestimated just how much Jackson doted on Fiona. When Jackson turned around, his eyes locked onto the

woman with a ferocity that seemed to simmer with endless anger.

The woman had never been in such a situation before, but she was well aware of who the man standing with

Fiona was the famous head of the illustrious Woods family. A man she'd only seen on TV was now right in front of

her. For a moment, she was completely taken aback; she'd never seen a man so strikingly handsome. Her grip

on Fiona's hand slackened as she got caught up in admiration.

Yet, Jackson's icy demeanor didn't scare her off. Instead, she turned coy, her voice dripping with feigned

sweetness, "Mr. Woods." She was brimming with confidence about her looks, thinking she outshone any high

school girl. If Fiona could attract Jackson's attention, why couldn't she? After all, she'd undergone cosmetic

surgery abroad to achieve that trendy, pure-yet-unattainable goddess look.

"Mr. Woods, I..." Her words were cut short as security ushered her away. Jackson's face twisted in disgust, his

eyes revealing a deep-seated animosity that only faded when Fiona took his hand again, soothing his inner

storm.

"Mr. Woods, whatever Fiona can give you, | can do better!" the woman called out, desperation clear in her voice.

This was her only shot to get close to Jackson.

Suddenly, Fiona halted the security, flashing a pair of dimples as she smiled up at Jackson, "Brother, | think

there's been a misunderstanding."

"A misunderstanding's just that," Jackson replied, the words slipping out before he could stop them, and once

they were out, there was no taking them back.

Fiona giggled softly, "Brother, don't you feel like we're being watched?"

Jackson casually scanned the area and indeed spotted a few reporters and media folks. Across the street in a

café, a woman sat with a gaze so intense you could feel the hostility from across the road.

"Don't worry, even if we're being watched," Jackson said, affectionately ruffling Fiona's hair. "After all, clowns will

always put on a show."

"You're right, Brother!" Fiona agreed with a nod.

"Take her away," Jackson instructed with a wave of his hand. The crowd fell silent, watching the golden couple,

too wary to speak up, even those who were paid to be there. Seeing the bold woman being led away instilled

fear in their hearts.

Could something serious actually happen?

Doubt began to creep in as they eyed Jackson and Fiona, suspicion clouding their thoughts.

"Brother, let's head hfor dinner," Fiona said, her smile brightening. The commotion had left her feeling

hungry.

After taking Fiona to a restaurant for dinner, Jackson finally dropped her off at her school dormitory. Even on a

Sunday evening, there was night class to attend. Missing anything was fine, but not the little girl's study time.

Although being there seemed pointless, attendance was still required.

"Goodbye, Brother!" Fiona waved with a smile.

Stepping out

it of the car, Fiona waved to Jackson before her silhouette quickly disappeared into the school dorm building. As

soon as she got back to her dorm room, Fiona was greeted by the sound of hushed

whispers.
