Her feelings were mixed.

Mariela koked at him.“Why are you apologizing?”
“It’s our family’s fault for not raising Lauryn well, Lennon sighed. “I don’t understand why she slandered you. I'll
investigate this
Mariela chuckled softly, “No need. | know why.”
