Chapter 814 Meeting Parents Together
After Evelyn decided to stay, Huston took her to the police station the next day to restore her previous
identity and household registration. Because the interval between them was relatively long, she needed
to fill in the paperwork first.
After entering the police station, she was greeted by the director, who had personally canceled her
account five years ago. Chief Browne first exchanged pleasantries with Huston before looking at
Evelyn.
He had been in contact with everything about the case back then, so he was familiar with Evelyn.
"Miss Shelton, it's not easy. I'm very happy to see you again five years later!"
Evelyn smiled. "Thank you, Chief Browne. I've troubled you back then, and now I have to trouble you
again."
Her joke made the atmosphere much more relaxed. After all, this matter was a little awkward for Chief
Browne, but after she said that, it immediately eased up a lot.

asked his subordinates to prepare the documents in advance. "Write down some of the documents. If
there is no problem, they can be approved tomorrow."
"Okay, thank you." Evelyn took the black pen and filled it in word by word. She wrote a lot of things,
some of which were repeated and some not. There was another reason. She didn't know how much
she had written, but it felt very good.
It was very steady and landed on the ground, giving her a sense of reality.
Her name, background, and everything about her were all given to her by this city. The good memories
were far worse than the bad ones. In the past five years in Eoland, she had used the identity bought by
Bert. Her name was not Evelyn but Suran. Except for those five years, she even knew nothing about
the past of that identity. No matter how long it took, she would not have a sense of belonging because it
was not her at all.
Now that she was back, filling up her life in this manner was her true perfection of her.
After the paperwork was completed, the staff quickly took away the letter of authorization. Chief
Browne wanted to keep them for a meal but was rejected by Huston.
"I have to go back later. I'll treat you another day when I'm free." The man stretched out his hand
apologetically and walked forward. His state was completely different from when he was at home. He
was full of a very powerful aura.
Evelyn stood at the side and watched. It was as if she was looking at the man who had appeared in
front of her five years ago. He was also so powerful and dazzling that Kevin's people subconsciously
submit to him.
This man was a natural leader. He had all the qualities of a successful businessman.
After leaving the police station, Huston turned around and drove in the opposite direction.
Evelyn glanced at the street scene outside the window and asked in confusion, "Aren't you going back?
Do you have any other plans?"
"Let's go back to the old house." He glanced at her and quickly looked away. "I was afraid that you
would be nervous, so I didn't tell you in advance. I've bought all the things and put them in the trunk."
Evelyn was a little stunned. Only then did she understand why Benjamin Miller didn't drive today. It

Thinking of the two elders of the Lloyd family, Evelyn felt her heart in her mouth. "What, what am I
going to do? Tell me?"
The man smiled and freed up a hand to hold hers, reassuring her. "You can say whatever you want."
"That won't do. They don't like me in the first place. What if they say something wrong." Evelyn bit her
lip. On the one hand, she was worried about how the two elders would treat her. On the other hand,
she was a little embarrassed about what had happened to Lucas.
She didn't say it just to make things difficult for Huston, but this kind of emotion was a little unbearable
for her.
Huston had almost guessed what she was thinking and had already made preparations in advance. "I
talked to my family on the phone last night. Don't worry, they won't be rude to you."
Although the two old men's tolerance was mixed with their feelings for their great-grandsons, it had to
be said that because of the existence of Lucas, their attitude toward Evelyn had indeed changed a lot.
No matter what, as long as the result was good, it was enough.
As for the rest, he was confident that he could slowly nurture them in the future.
