tricks and plots?”

Mr. Tucker gave her a glance and said, “Go check on Yulia.”

When Yulia woke up, she was still terrified. She clung to the doctor’s hand, shaking. “Will the snake come after me
for revenge? Will it bring its kids?”
The crew’s doctor was taken aback, turning to the assistant director and saying, “Maybe we should take her to the
neurology department at a big hospital. Let’s not waste any more time.”

“You’re the one with mental issues!” Yulia wasn’t a dummy, and she got his drift.
The assistant director quickly asked, “How are you feeling?”
In a panicked voice, Yulia asked, “Can the snake track me down by my scent?”
The assistant director laughed, saying, “No, we’ve already released the snake. We let it go far away; it won’t come
back.”
“It won’t send its offspring after me, right?” Yulia asked, still in shock.
She was a pampered city girl who had never seen a snake before. She had heard a few scary snake stories, so she
had taken Estelle’s words to heart.
The assistant director was speechless, comforting her. “Of course not. You didn’t do anything to hurt it, why would it
seek revenge on you?”
Yulia was finally relieved.

Yulia slowly calmed down, seething, “I won’t let her off the hook!”
With a nonchalant tone, Carmella said, “There are so many people around in the crew, and Mr. Tucker favors
Estelle. It’ll be tough to deal with her here. Unless outside.”
A lightbulb went off in Yulia’s head: “Right, if I can’t deal with her here, I can teach her a lesson outside!”
Carmella tried to dissuade her again: “Yulia, let’s just bear with it. Mr. Tucker already scolded me earlier I can’t
handle any more issues.”
“You’re such a scaredy-cat, useless!” Yulia scoffed and said, “This time I’ll handle it myself. I don’t believe I can’t
deal with her!”
Carmella warned, “Be careful; Estelle is not an easy one to handle!”
This only stoked Yulia’s fighting spirit: “I’d like to see how tough she is!”
