Leonie was persuaded by Sallie and nodded, “Alright, wait a bit and I’ll transfer you 100 grand.”
Hans anxiously said, “Are you guys nuts? You know that Baber is a scammer, and yet you still want to
give him money!”
“Who’s the scammer?” Sallie reached over to pinch Hans‘ face, “I think that Estelle is the real
scammer!”
“She’s not a scammer, but you’re definitely a fool!” Hans yelled.
“Hans, don’t you dare talk to your sister like that!” Leonie scolded Hans sternly
Seeing that they didn’t believe him, Hans‘ eyes welled up with tears, “Go ahead and get scammed
then! You’ll regret it!”

Sallie sneered, “Isn’t it all because of that Estelle? Mom, I think you should tell Hans to hang out less
with Estelle”

Sallie curled her lips, looking very knowing. “Isn’t it obvious? Estelle wants to get back into the Macclain

Leonie frowned, “I’ll go tell Hans later not to get involved with her anymore!”
As soon as he went upstairs, Hans called Estelle. When she picked up, he was nearly crying. “My mom
and sister don’t believe what I said, what should I do?”
Estelle had just finished her meal and was standing in front of the fridge getting ice cream. Hearing
what Hans said, she spoke casually. “You can try talking to your dad”
Hans helplessly said, “My dad is busy most of the time, and he always listens to my mom when it
comes to family matters. Even if I tell him, it’ll be useless.”
He lowered his voice, “Ella, please help me again.”
Estelle thought about it for a bit and agreed, “Alright, I’ll try.”
In fact, she didn’t want to help Leonie and her daughter at all and didn’t care whether they got
scammed. But this matter was somewhat related to her since the person named Baber was scamming
people under the guise of Snowy Studios.
The next day. Leonie received a call while playing cards with a group of ladies.
“Hello, Mrs. Macclain. I’m from Snowy Studios Human Resources. We’ve heard that someone is
impersonating us and scamming people.”

you to call?”

The day before Sallie got into trouble, Leonie called Bennett and told him to ask Estelle to see Hans
less and not to affect her son’s studies.

arrested for assault.
