"It's been ten years," Estelle calculated.
Ten years. It sounded like a long time, but looking back, it felt like just a moment.
Jonathan held out his hand to her. "Let's go, Mrs. Lamont. Our Party at Midnight, our life together, officially begins now!"

Estelle rested on his shoulder, looking up at the rain of fireworks. "Thank you, Jonathan."
Thank you for pullingout of the darkness and givinga different kind of life.
Jonathan carried Estelle into the castle, which was ablaze with lights, finally weing its master and mistress.
They went up to the third floor and entered the prepared bridal suite.

canopy descended from the ceiling, enveloping the bed. The gauze was embroidered with intricate, auspicious patterns, and small
red bells were tied to it in strings.
Estelle flicked one of the bells with her finger, and it made a clear, pleasant sound.
She turned to Jonathan. "What's this for?"
Jonathan's eyes were deep, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "You'll know if you try."
