Estelle went to spend stwith Old Mr. Jarvis.

The grandfather and granddaughter sat on a quiet veranda, watching the guests at the banquet laugh and mingle.

"Are you happy?" Old Mr. Jarvis asked with a smile.

Estelle turned to him and nodded seriously. "Very happy."

This happiness was a gift from Jonathan, from her grandfather, and from her brother. Today's wedding filled her not just with

emotion, but with immense gratitude.

So many people had gone to great lengths to make her happy, meticulously planning every single detail.

Old Mr. Jarvis nodded, pleased. "As long as you're happy."

"I saw Gia today," Estelle said. "We talked for a while. She askedin detail about how | met Evelyn."

"So, Gia does care whether Evelyn is her daughter or not," Old Mr. Jarvis said softly.

She must be conflicted, torn between the hope of finding her daughter and the need to remain calm and not get her hopes up.

"Did Gia meet Evelyn?"

"She did," Old Mr. Jarvis said with a slight frown. "That Evelyn girl is a bit of a schemer. Gia didn't like her very much."

"What do you mean?" Estelle asked, confused.

"Don't worry about it," Old Mr. Jarvis said, patting her hand gently. "Today is your wedding day. All you need to do is be happy. As

for Gia and Evelyn, it's too early to say anything. We'll wait until after the paternity test settles things. The real problems will

surface then, and we'll figure out how to solve them."

Estelle nodded thoughtfully. "I understand."

She leaned against Old Mr. Jarvis's shoulder, looking up at the fireworks in the sky. "Grandpa," she murmured, "before the wedding,

| saw svideos where the bride cries when she says goodbye to her family after the reception. | feel so lucky that you and my

brother stayed withuntil the end, so | didn't have to go through that today."

She wasn't sure if she would have cried, but it would have been heartbreaking.
