“Enough!” Jason told Sophia. “Stop getting on Old Mr. Quintin’s nerves!”

Sophia sighed. “Jason, you see how unfair he is to me, right?”
Jason threw her a glance. “Well, Estelle behaves way better than you do!”
Sophia’s eyes widened. “She just loves eating! Does that make her obedient?”
Jason lightly laughed. “When you eat and keep your mouth full, you talk less and don’t piss off Old Mr. Quintin.

Sophia’s eyes lit up. “That actually makes sense!”
Everyone gathered and Old Mr. Quintin was thrilled. He had dinner set up in the garden so everyone could enjoy his
flowers while watching the stars in the night sky.
As they sat around, Old Mr. Quintin asked Estelle, “How’s your grandpa doing lately? Every time we video chat, he
tries to show off, bragging about eating three bowls of food in one sitting and climbing to the top of the mountain.
He always exaggerates.”
Estelle responded, “I just spoke with Dr. Ollie yesterday. He said grandpa’s doing well and there’s nothing major to
worry about.”
“That’s good to hear. I’ve been trying to get him to come to J City, but he’s too stubborn!”
“Grandpa says he prefers the mountain air.”
“Old people don’t like to change their surroundings, I understand that.”
After chatting about Old Mr. Jarvis for a while, Sophia asked, “Estelle, do you know Carmella who’s been in the
spotlight recently?” Estelle looked up. “Yes, I know her.”
“She’s signed with a talent agency and is about to debut. I’ve seen a lot of news about her online, and many of
them mention you,” Sophia said. I’ve seen her designs on the show, they do resemble your style.”
Estelle raised an eyebrow. She remembered looking at Carmella’s designs back in Snowy Studios and didn’t see any
of her style. Was Carmella imitating KING’s style now?
Sophia continued. “Carmella and Sallie won first place in the last round. Sallie is a promising fashion design rookie,
just a bit behind Carmella. She’s from our design studio, right?”
Sophia’s last question was directed at Jason, who nodded in confirmation. “Yes, Estelle recommended her for the
show.”

Jason said casually, “I guess her goal might not be here. Isn’t she trying to become a star?”
Sophia raised an eyebrow. “That’s a shame. She does have a talent for design!”
While eating, Estelle pondered Sophia’s praise for Carmella. Had Carmella really improved that much? She might
check out the show Beauty’s Wardrobe when she had time. She didn’t usually watch this kind of show, plus she’s
been busy this month, so she hadn’t been following it.
Jason said casually, “No matter how talented she is, it’s useless if her character is flawed.”
Sophia sighed. “True. She’s just debuted and used KING’s fame to promote herself. Then she turns around and says
KING is riding on her coattails. I guess her sponsors aren’t too bright, daring to mess with our KING. Don’t they
know that KING has a huge fan base even if he doesn’t appear?”
Jason said, “That’s exactly what the company wants, the more hype, the better”
Sophia scoffed. “They probably underestimated the number of KING’s fans. They wasted a lot of public goodwill so
soon after their debut. The gains outweigh the losses”
