Chapter 703: Angush Pill
“I don’t really need to explain what the Angush Pill is for, but for those that don’t, I will,” the auctioneer lady smiled. “The Angush Pill is a level seven pill, concocted by the famous alchemist, Angush Paradigm!”
Lyon raised his brows, “Who?”
“Angush Paradigm is a famous alchemist,” said Kesya as she nodded.
“Yeah, she told us already,” said Lyon as his lips twitched.
“Angush Pill is only made like, once a year brother Lyon,” said Mavis as he sat back down. “He is not affiliated with anyone but the Alchemy Union, even the headmaster saw him.”
“Are you sure you’re not going to stand up? You might lose in this sea of cultivators,” jested Lyon with a smirk.
“Nah, I won’t,” said Mavis as he shook his head. “This pill is pretty much coveted by a lot of people.
“I can see that, but the thing that I cannot see is the pill itself,” said Lyon as he shrugged. “With all of them standing and all.”
The auctioneer lady seemed to pick up his words before asking the standing crowds, “Please sit down, dear prospective buyers!”
Lyon chuckled as he saw the others obeying her words. She was definitely in charge of the atmosphere now.
“Ah, so that’s the pill,” said Lyon as if he was a pill connoisseur.
The pill itself was vibrantly orange with the hue of mana surrounding it. It was placed on top of an exquisite small soft pillow that sunk on design. There was a bit of impurity on it but only if one was seriously looking hard enough.

It can heal your external wounds, repel most mid-tier poison, and temporarily slammed you with adrenaline that made you feel like you can pill a dragon’s tail and smack it down!”
“Grandson, we need to buy that pill! Hahaha!” Sun immediately revealed himself with his legs crossed and a gourd on the side on top of Lyon’s head.
“You are really easy to be fooled, you damn monkey!” said Shen who was perching by Lyon’s shoulder.
The two of them shared a glare, whilst Bapho the Calamity Goat had his body laying against Lyon’s thigh with his eyes closed.
Lyon smiled wryly as Mavis was confused. The latter couldn’t see the three mythical beings that were surrounding him, but he could see Lyon’s expression.
“So a multi-purpose pill, huh,” said Lyon as he nodded, “Not bad.”
“Not bad?” Ning actually heard what he had just said due to no one else spoke at the moment he did so. “Hmph! Don’t act sooo highly as if you can afford this thing! I bet your eyes have never seen anything beyond a fifth-tier pill!”
“She is not backing down, is she?” commented Lyon as Mavis smiled wryly.
(Damn it! Lyon is already on Miss Ning’s bad side! She is using every corner that she gets to demean him! This is real bad) said Hilde as she tightened up her upper lips. She was powerless in this situation but she had no real choice to take. Her finger was tapping on the armrest as she watched how the situation developed.
Mavis was intending to watch this time. (What is your response, how much can you retaliate against Red Lotus?). He was genuinely curious about the group. The auburn woman knew a little harmless secret that had been kept by a small circle of his clan, it was no wonder that he would be a little bit wary. Not much was known about these two individuals besides the young man’s name—which prove to be useless since he never heard of it before.
Lyon made a powerful snort to Hilde’s dismay. “Hmph!” He didn’t even bother to look at her disbelieving eyes.
The onlookers were whispering amongst themselves.
“What is he doing?”
“Why is he so brave? Who is that alchemist?”
“Doesn’t he know Red Lotus could wipe the floor with his face?”
“I think he knew that not a word will go outside this room due to Miss Ning’s pride, but isn’t he kind of pushing it too far?”
The majority of the onlookers immediately took Ning’s side by default. The Red Lotus was something that one simply couldn’t offend. Not even Azleid and Mavis would.
“Oi, young man!” a male cultivator stood up with his arms crossed. “You’ve been acting all highly for enough time! You should apologize to Miss Ning!”
Ning furrowed her brows. She obviously didn’t know who the cultivator was, but as long as he was on his side, she won’t complain like a fool. She smirked instead. Her status had brought her this kind of phenomenon, this kind of privilege.
The cultivator smirked seeing Lyon was still sitting and froze. (This is my chance! The guy is definitely scared! Hahaha! Fool! And thank you! For giving me! A heroic impression! In front of the Red Lotus’s famous beauty! Gahahahaha!).
Meanwhile, Azleid frowned. He knew or rather speculate, that, unlike other common cultivators, Lyon also harbor a status that garnered him the ability to offend such a grand clan. He was waiting for clues that might be of use in discovering Lyon’s background. Any identical traits, such as the art that he used, would reveal his identity. He was patiently waiting for that moment and only at that moment would he know what action to take.
(No question about it, this guy is not a nobody! His presence is actually the same and most likely greater than Yuri!).
“Is today the whore day? Are you guys commemorating the whore day? I see not one but two people like to lick ass,” said Lyon as he shredded the pure atmosphere of the room with his vulgarly sharp words.
Ning furrowed her brows.
The grinning cultivator slowly lost his smile. He was being compared to the unconscious alchemist that was sleeping on the floor with his blood tarnishing the expensive carpet.
“What did you say?” said the cultivator as he glared at Lyon. “Don’t worry Miss Ning, I will teach him a lesson and make sure that he properly kowtowed right in front of you!”
“Sorry sir, but this is an auction and we are about to play,” said the auctioneer lady as she interrupted to Lyon’s surprise. “If you are going to act all brute and ruined the atmosphere, then I’m afraid that Alchemy Union has every right to kick you out.”
“W-What? What did you say?” asked the cultivator. He couldn’t believe that she would take Lyon’s side more than Red Lotus’s. “Are you taking his side? Are you going against the Red Lotus’s side?”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm“Hahaha!” Lyon laughed. “Since when?”
“Since when what?” asked the cultivator as he furrowed his brows.
“Since when are you from the Red Lotus clan? I don’t see any Red Lotus on your forehead,” said Lyon as he left the cultivator taken back by his response. Lyon looked over to Ning, “Is he your man?’
“I-I’m unworthy of her beauty! You snake-tongued devil!” said the cultivators hurriedly as he pointed at Lyon.
“You’re not going to let the lady answer?” asked Lyon as he smirked at Ning.
“Hmph!” Ning crossed her arms, “He is not amongst our men, but he is definitely a new friend.”
The cultivator was surprised by her response before the euphoric feeling made his goosebumps rise. He slowly pointed his lips upward before his teeth showed from his wide grin. “Hahahaha! Thank you, Miss Ning!”
He then looked down upon Lyon as he pointed at him, “You hear that? You low-life! How can I be worthy of Miss Ning of Red Lotus! Miss Ning, I will forever be loyal to Red Lotus!”
The onlookers secretly envied him. He had made a connection with Red Lotus quite easily, while most of them could only dream.
Mavis leered at the cultivator before he returned his glance back at Lyon.
“Please calm down,” said the auctioneer lady as she clasped her hands, “Let’s continue—”
“Shut up woman! Don’t you see I’m talking here!” said the cultivator (If I bring him down more, I would gain more favor!) he grinned inwardly. He didn’t need to buy anything from the auction now, he had gained something more valuable. A connection to Red Lotus.
He crossed his arms as he raised his chin, “I may not worthy of Miss Ning of Red Lotus.” He licked his lips, “But the two beauties beside you, I’m sure I’m more than worthy!”
The three generals immediately opened their eyes wide, but Mavis who was sitting right in front of Lyon, had his pupils trembling.
“?!” Azleid and Ning opened their eyes wide as they looked at Lyon. The presence that they felt when he ascended the stairs had not only returned but it was cold and brutal.
(THIS… THIS IS?! HIS KILLING INTENT?!) thought Mavis as he saw that ghastly brutal glance.
