Chapter 455
Raymond added, "There really wasn't anything between them, but Ms. Acosta insisted that Mr. Dominic treated
her differently and that he had feelings for her.
"Honestly, from what | saw, Mr. Dominic was equally kind to both Mr. Harry and Ms. Acosta. And to avoid any
misunderstandings, Mr. Dominic kept a straight face around Ms. Acosta all the time. He didn't even dare to crack
a smile."
Vespera listened, completely absorbed. Raymond told the story so detailed that she could practically see the
playing out like a movie.
To sum it up, Nancy originally flirted with Harry, but once they got to Regalia, she suddenly shifted her attention
to Dominic. After Dominic rejected her, she lost her grip. Harry had a breakdown, and Dominic got stuck between
the two.
Calling it rough for Dominic didn't even cclose. He had been tossed between two emotionally unstable
teenagers.
Vespera asked, "So, does Mr. Harry still like Nancy?"
Gerard answered, "Mr. Harry went off to college in Isloria, and Ms. Acosta stayed behind in Regalia. They barely
kept in touch.
"I remember last Valentine's Day, they both returned. He was calm, but they didn't really talk. | heard that he has
a girlfriend overseas now. | guess all the teenage is just a distant memory."

Vespera had only ever read about these coming-of-age disasters in , so it was the first tshe heard it
firsthand from someone who actually lived through it.
Just then, Gerard crunning in. He glanced at the seafood chowder and steak with cherry sauce, swallowed
hard. He asked, "Mr. Chandler, when are we eating? Is the food ready yet?"
then
Raymond smiled and answered, "There are two more dishes. I'm almost done."
Eventually, dinner was served. Vespera and the others gathered at the table. At this time, Dominic finally
stepped out of the room. He had just taken a shower. While Dominic was showering, all of them only thought
about eating.
Dominic took his seat and said, "Let's eat."
Once Dominic said that, the rest of them lowered their heads and started wolfing down the food like they
hadn't seen food in days. On the other hand, Dominic kept his usual composed rhythm.
At one point, Dominic reached out for the bowl of chowder in front of him, but Vespera beat him to it and said, "If
you aren't drinking it, | will."
Dominic responded gently, "Go ahead."
When Dominic wanted to grab a
steak, Calvert swooped in and lifted the entire plate away. At that, Dominic set down his cuttery. He turned his
head only to see gerard stuffing a butter garlic praw into one cheek and a crab roe meatball into the other. s
Upon seeing that, Dominic rubbed his temples. Then, just as Vespera reached for a drumstick, Calvert and
Gerard moved in at the sexact moment.
Dominic frowned. In one swift motion, he tapped both Calvert's and Gerard's hands. He reprimanded sternly,
"What are you doing? Have you ever heard of ladies going first?"
Calvert and Gerard felt unfair. Meanwhile, Vespera awkwardly picked up the drumstick.
Dominic pulled the whole platter over and placed it directly in front of Vespera. He said, "Eat slowly. No one is
going to steal it from you."
Calvert and Gerard were shocked. It was no longer an issue with ladies first. Vespera was having the whole feast!
They hadn't even gotten a single bite of drumstick yet.
Off to the side, Raymond watched the scene with a smile on his face like a proud zookeeper watching his baby
animals squabble over food He said, "There's no need to fight There's more chicken. I'll shee smore." s
Calvert shouted, running to the kitchen, "I'll go!"
Dominic sighed and reached for a napkin. He gently wiped a smear of oil front the corner of Vesperas mouth. He
mumbled, "With the w

you guys are eating, you're one step

In the next moment, Vespera accidentally bit Dominic's finger. He froze, and she let go awkwardly. Her eyes
slowly rose to meet his.
Dominic looked down at his finger, now spotting teeth marks. He chuckled and said, "It looks like I'm tastier than
the drumstick."
