Chapter 445
Was Vespera insane? Even if they won, they didn't have to be so smug about it!
Belinda and Vespera weren't willing to compromise. Then, Belinda forced out a smile and said, "If Mr. Reid has
something to say, of course I'm all ears."
Belinda turned toward Dominic. With his legs crossed, Dominic seemed carefree. He looked charming. He smiled
and said, "Let Ms. Gildon speak for me."
Without missing a beat, Vespera said, "Gladly."
She smiled brightly as her gaze swept across the guests before settling on Belinda. She said, "First, we would like
to thank the association for their generosity.
"Second, as the new owner of the island and the castle, there will be a few updates to the sleeping
arrangements tonight.
"The new owner will be taking the master bedroom on the third floor. As for Ms. Belinda, since you have enjoyed
surprising your guests so much, we thought we would return the favor. You'll be staying in a guest room on the
second floor.

"By the way, the wind gets really intense at night. You might be scared of staying there alone. So, we have
decided you can pick ten men to accompany you."
Belinda gritted her teeth out of anger. Meanwhile, the guests thought it was brutal.
Vespera stared at Belinda for a few seconds before turning back to the crowd and saying, "The rooms on the
third floor are spacious as well. Feel free to move to the third floor."
After Vespera finished speaking, the hall fell dead silent. Dominic got up and walked over to Vespera's side. He
tapped her lightly on the nose and said, "Don't bother being generous to cowards."
The guests thought, "Was that aimed at us?"
"Good night, everyone. See you tomorrow," said Dominic with a smile.
With that, Dominic headed for the stairs, casually taking Vespera's hand as he passed. His actions were natural.
Gerard nudged Calvert awake and said, "Con. It's tto go."
Evelyn and Vance followed. They climbed the stairs at a leisurely pace. Somewhere in the background, a butler
could be heard receiving orders to change the bed linens.
The guests stood frozen. Dominic and the others were unbelievably heartless. What were the guests supposed to
do now?
Swere tempted to follow, but
then they looked at Belinda, who had
a dark expression, and fell into a dilemma. Everyone knew that the rooms on the second floor had
issues. But wasnt the third floor still
technically Belinda's territory?
s
In the end, the guests returned to their original rooms. However, as the night wore
on, they began to step out of their rooms and head to the third floor one after another.
The night was quiet. It was so peaceful that hardly anyone got any sleep.
By morning, many guests appeared at breakfast with dark circles under their eyes. Seven wondered if
Dominic and the others had left last night. However, Dominic showed up at the dining area for breakfast, looking
refreshed.
On the other hand, Belinda looked like she hadn't slept at all. She wasn't as poised as she was the day before.
During the day, her face looked even more uncanny.
Midway through breakfast, someone realized that people were missing. Drake and the two women were missing.
Sabrina and her friend were gone as well. Everyone tried to remember when they had disappeared.
One person remembered he saw Drake heading into the forest with Dominic last night.
Someone else muttered that the
person who fell the day before
looked just like Sabrina, but another guest jumped in, saying she
definitely saw Sabrina later when the treasure hunt began. Both guests even started arguing because of that. s
There were people missing. One person had fallen, then reappeared, then vanished again. The more the guests
thought about it, the less sense it made. While no one cared what had happened to those people, whether they
were dead or alive, it wasn't a good sign that people were going missing. s
The guests thought they should leave as soon as possible, as it was starting to feel like they might be next.
Meanwhile, four of the five missing guests were currently tied up in the mushroom tower, being used to grow
mushrooms.
