Chapter 375
Audrey's POV
Ethan pushed open the hotel doors and gestured to the people behind him. “This way.”
All eyes turned to the entrance as three doctors two men and one woman
The Parkers and Sinclairs stared blankly, but the reporters started buzzing.
‘Aren’t those Dr. Clarke's protégés?” one asked.
walked in.
“I interviewed that female doctor recently. She just won an international award for her research at Mayo Clinic,”
another added.
“That first male doctor regularly films educational medical content. Very respected.”
“The last one’s performed surgeries documented in medical journals. I've interviewed him multiple times.”
“Could they be the ones who filmed that documentary twenty-five years ago?”
The lead doctor adjusted his glasses. “Yes, that documentary was our work.”
| switched the projector to a new clip showing these sdoctors, much younger, standing in the exact hospital
corridor where Richard had discarded the baby.
“This is our first documentary after starting our residency,” their younger selves announced.
The female doctor walked over and lightly touched my shoulder. “Our reputation in New York should speak for
itself. This footage wasn’t fabricated by Mrs. Knox.”
“When we discovered this twenty-five years ago, we were shocked. We considered going to the police, but we
were young and afraid. We kept it hoping to quietly find those children.”
“Later, we learned the switched child went hwith her family and the abandoned one was rescued by
hospital staff, so we stopped looking.” Her expression darkened. “But a father throwing away his child left a
lasting impact on us, so we preserved this footage.”
“If Mr. Parker...” She glanced at Blake before quickly looking away. “If Miss Knox and Mr. Knox hadn't tracked us
down, we wouldn't have chere to deliver this video personally.”
My heart skipped a beat. The way she glanced at Blake, that moment of hesitation in her explanation.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtInstinctively, | looked toward Blake.
He didn’t meet my eyes. Instead, his attention remained fixed on the Sinclairs, his expression cool.
“Mr. and Mrs. Knox arrived in New York two days ago,” he said coolly. “These doctors barely know them. They
wouldn't risk their careers supporting a fake video.”
Richard hung his head, trembling, while Elaine cried silently as she wiped blood from his face.
Victoria's POV

| bit my lip, eyes burning with hatred. This should've been Evelyn Knox's public humiliation. Instead, it's
destroyed us.
“How embarrassing, Rebecca said, givinga disgusted look.
| looked at her, then away. I'd crashed from heaven to hell in an hour. I'd worked so hard convincing Rebecca and
Thalia to help with this livestream, never imagining this disaster.
The truth hithard. As an adopted daughter without status, I'm nothing to people like Rebecca. After this goes
viral, I'll never even marry decently. My future's over.
| spotted a glass shard on the floor. Audrey Sinclair is dead, so Evelyn Knox shouldn't live either.
| grabbed the shard, pretending to help Elaine with Richard while planning my move.
As we stood to leave, | lunged at Evelyn, aiming for her neck. Before she could fully react, something slammed
into me.
Blake's wheelchair sentflying. | landed in a pile of garbage, sharp objects stabbing into my chest and arms. |
screamed in pain.
“Victoria!” Mom cried, letting go of Dad who collapsed again.
Ethan blocked her before she reached me, “Mrs. Sinclair, check on your husband. Miss Sinclair has someone
taking care of her.”
Two people in medical coats and masks helpedup. Weak and dizzy, | managed, “Thank you...”
They satin a chair as | pointed to the glass in my chest. “Help me...”
“Alright,” one replied hoarsely.
Instead of removing the shard, he pushed it deeper. My scream echoed through the lobby as Rebecca and Thalia
covered their ears in disgust.
When he finally pulled it out, | used what strength | had left to cover my wound. “You're not medical personnel!”
| looked up and met his eyes - eyes identical to my own. Horrified, | fell from the chair and tried to crawl away.
“You... you...”
“Sweet daughter,” he said grimly, “don’t you recognize your parents?”
They removed their masks, revealing Malcolm Sinclair and Ivy Thornwood my biological parents.
‘Once you got adoptive parents, you forgot us, right?” They approached with twisted smiles.
“Even Audrey, who was only an adoptive daughter, would give us money when asked.”
“You, our biological daughter, not only refused but had us committed to a mental institution?”
Malcolm grabbed my ankle. “You're such a good daughter!”
Ivy snatched the bloody shard. “Good daughter, do you know how much pain we're in?” She jammed it back into
my chest. “This much pain!”
1 screamed louder than | ever had before.

Chapter 375
Audrey's POV
Rebecca, Elizabeth said to Rebecca, “you said you broughthere to see a spectacle. Is this the spectacle you
meant?”
She stood surveying the chaos Richard collapsed, Elaine screaming, Victoria being tortured.
“What a fine spectacle indeed,” she laughed coldly.
*Had | known Audrey Sinclair's family was this low-class, I'd never have agreed to Father's suggestion about her
marrying Blake. Thankfully she’s dead, or this would be truly humiliating.”
She turned to her daughter. “Let's go, Olivia. This scene will givenightmares.”
Olivia snapped to attention and followed her mother. As Elizabeth walked past, her shawl struck Rebecca's face.
Rebecca's expression darkened. She grabbed a glass and smashed it. “Everyone STOP!”
The sharp sound silenced the room.
“I don’t want to manage your family feuds!” she shouted. “I reserved this entire lobby. Take your
elsewhere! Security!”
Hotel guards swarmed in, escorting the bloody Sinclairs toward the exit.
As they reached the doors, Blake calmly said: “Wait.”
“Blake...” Victoria's tears started flowing on cue. She looked pathetically at Blake. “I knew you wouldn't let them
hurt me.”
“When Audrey was alive, you both cto my birthday parties every year. You two always likedbest.”
“Audrey and | were so close. We loved each other so much...”
I almost laughed out loud hearing her. Yeah, | did drag Blake to her birthday parties with expensive cakes and
gifts. But only because Richard forcedto.
Back then, I'd never felt warmth from my foster parents Malcolm and Ivy, so | desperately tried to please the
Sinclairs. Just like with Blake, | figured if | gave enough of myself, if | was nice enough, they’d eventually care
about me.
And what did | get? They just wanted more.
One day they'd ask for a $100,000 contract with Parker Group, the next day they'd want a million.
This happened constantly. | couldn’t count the incidents if | tried.
“Blake...” Victoria tried again when Blake didn’t answer.
Blake turned his wheelchair toward her. “Miss Sinclair.”
He pointed at the smashed projector. “That was a prototype from a tech company overseas. Market value: three
million dollars.”
“The cameras recorded exactly how you destroyed it. Pay in full, or spend the rest of your life in prison.”
Victoria froze mid-sob. “Blake... you stopped security just to makepay for your projector?”
