Not just because of the fact that demonic cultivators at that level of strength shouldn't be easy to cby, but also because they were still in the outer parts of the Frozen Wasteland where such powerful demonic cultivators normally wouldn't be around.

Even encountering the old demonic cultivator at the Demon Lord Realm was surprising. Not to mention another even stronger demonic cultivator around the slocation.

I guess it's because of the recent plans of these demonic cultivators that more of them are around the outskirts of the Frozen Wasteland now…

Thinking this to himself as he locked on to the demonic cultivator rushing towards the place where he and the old demonic cultivator were fighting, Xuan Hao decided to not drag out his fight with the old demonic cultivator any longer now that a much better whetstone had presented itself-

And without showing any mercy, he directly used the Dao of the Sword in combination with the Dao of Illusions and the Dao of Space to instantly send out hundreds of powerful sword attacks that appeared all around the old demonic cultivator in a split second.

Not even giving the old demonic cultivator any tto react, as he was forced to defend against the hundreds of swords that descended the next second. Unable to tell which of them were real and which of them were just illusions created by Xuan Hao to deliberately confuse him and make him waste his strength attacking nothing but air-

However, this did not last for long, as the first few sword attacks soon broke through his defense and pierced into his body before the sword intent laying dormant inside of them exploded and began destroying his body from the inside, something Xuan Hao had deliberately not done during their past exchange, as it would undoubtedly have killed him by now given their difference in strength.

Unfortunately for the old demonic cultivator, Xuan Hao no longer needed to use him as a whetstone to improve his Dao of the Sword and sword soul any longer. Meaning that Xuan Hao had no intention of going easy on him.

In the end, the old demonic cultivator could only let out a few confused words as he looked towards Xuan Hao filled with disbelief. Not understanding why his opponent had held back against him for so long and only killed him when his savior was about to show up.

Killing him just as the stronger demonic cultivator appeared at the horizon. Giving the old demonic cultivator one last glimpse of his would-be savior before he departed from the world of the living.

In the darkness that had descended upon the Frozen Wasteland over the past two hours, a figure cloaked in an eerie robe that seemed to have been woven from human skin, flew silently towards them at a neither fast nor slow pace. Obviously not caring the slightest bit about the death of the old demonic cultivator.

"Hm? A demonic cultivator comparable to the Middel Stage of the Dao Seed Realm…" Seeing this demonic figure at the stas the old demonic cultivator who had just passed away, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing his eyes as a slight smile made its way to his lips.

Indeed, this demonic cultivator was a far better whetstone compared to the one that he had just killed. Especially considering that he would not just be able to use his Dao of the Sword and sword soul but would be able to use his full strength without having to worry about accidentally killing the other party.
