Why are they all staring at me?
Is there something dirty on my face?
My gaze fell on a very pretty girl in the room. She had been staring at the man.
She must be his wife.
Thinking this, | walked over to her. As | gave her a grateful smile, she looked surprised.
"Thank you and your husband for saving me. I'm feeling a bit dizzy now. Could you takehome? I'll get some
money from my parents and pay you back for the medical expenses. | promise!"

"Juliana, stop joking around. Stanley and | are very worried about you.
Besides, I've apologized to you, so just forgive us and sign the divorce agreement. Dragging this out won't help."
Her words leftutterly puzzled.
Divorce? But I'm only in my teens, aren't I?
However, from her confusing words, | heard a familiar name, Stanley.
That was my boyfriend.
Realizing this, | smiled sweetly.
"Do you know Stanley? Where is he now? Can | use your phone to call him to cand pickup? He's very
nice and definitely won't ignore me."
| thought they would agree easily this time, but everyone in the room still looked atas if | were a fool.
The unfamiliar man, however, becagitated, grabbing my hands and speaking nonsense.

His bizarre behavior frightened me, and | stepped back repeatedly until I hit the wall.
I looked at his face with a bit of fear.
He looked similar to Stanley but appeared older.
Moreover, Stanley always had a smiling and gentle demeanor toward me.
He would never shout at me.
The man in front of me, although resembling him, had a completely different personality.
But how did he know my name?
And why was he pretending to be Stanley?
The more | thought about it, the more scared | became, and | tried to run outside.
But the man grabbedback, nearly crying. He knelt in front ofwith a desperate expression.
"Juliana, you can't do this to me. We vowed at our wedding that we would never forget each other!"
| was stunned, and a voice in my head suddenly said.
Is that so?

But, you are the one who betrayed me.
My head hurt so much!

"What do you want from me? | want to go home! My parents are waiting forfor a meal! Stanley needs to help
one with my homework! Who are you?"
Maybe my frantic behavior scared them, as the man didn't advance any further.
After | had vented, he had red eyes and a hoarse voice as he tried to negotiate.
"Juliana, if you want to see Stanley, I'll take you to him. How about that?

Thinking about it, | nodded in agreement.
But inexplicably, his wife blushed with anger upon hearing my consent.
