Chapter 456 Are We Still Friends? Rosaline's POV: +8 Pearls "Alright, everyone, great work today. Let's call it a wrap and head hto rest,” I said, clapping my hands to signal the end of the shoot.
I'd been keeping my eyes on the progress all day. The director gave a subtle nod, and I quickly checked the playback to ensure everything was fine. Satisfied, I called it a day.
The actors let out collective sighs of relief and made their way to the lounge to pack up. Naomi approachedwith a polite smile. "I'll be heading out now." Since there was no scene with Jasper in the afternoon, his absence made the day feel lighter.
After the online chaos Jasper had stirred up, I couldn't shake the awkwardness. It had been days since we'd had a real conversation. Outside the set, our exchanges were almost nonexistent.
I snapped out of my thoughts and returned Naomi's smile. The progress she'd made on set was hard to ignore. If she kept at it, she'd be a star in no time.

The actors trickled out one by one, and I let out a sigh of relief. Pinching the bridge of my nose, I stood, stretched, and made my way hfor smuch-needed rest.
The next morning, just as I finished washing up and was about to throw on my jacket to head to set, my phone buzzed from the shoe rack.
"Hello?" I said, slipping on my shoes and grabbing the phone.
It was Caden.
"Got ttonight? Want to grab dinner?" he asked.
"Caden?" I replied, a bit confused. Glancing at my watch, I realized it was too early for work. "Why are you callingnow?" "Is that a problem?" His voice was light, teasing almost.
I chuckled, but then the thought of dinner madehesitate.
If we met privately, wouldn't Heidi catch wind of it? "I just "I paused, "Won't it look suspicious if we meet now? What if Heidi finds out?" Caden's tone shifted, more subdued now.
He took a beat before replying, "It's fine. She trustsnow. Doesn't cling as much anymore. Actually, she's been a little distant. Probably still thinking about that plan I shared with her. Anyway, if you're free tonight, let's meet at Wisteria Restaurant. I've already booked a table. "Okay." Caden's voice softened, the tension lifting now that I'd agreed Jasper's POV: When Rosaline walked onto the set, I was already running lines with my scene partner.
She was the one everyone deferred to. The big boss. One by one, people greeted her. I felt a tug in my chest, a mix of nerves and something else, and turned to look at her.

I really wanted to give it a shot. It seemed only natural. But lately, her coldness made it impossible to know how to approach her. So, I could only manage a stiff smile.
"Great work, everyone," Rosaline announced, her voice clear and warm. “After the shoot, grab a milk tea and take a break," she added, holding up two bags filled with the drinks.
During the break, she walked over towith a cup in her hand. "Here, you can have one too. No sugar- keeps you in shape," she said, handingthe drink.
I glanced up and saw her, smiling, and I couldn't help but smile back as I accepted the tea. "Thanks." Shem turned to leave, but I couldn't let her walk away without saying something. "Wait, hold on." She paused and turned, looking atcuriously. "Is something wrong?" I hesitated, my throat tight. Finally, I sighed. "I'm sorry Back when we were talking to the press... I said something Without thinking it through. I didn't consider your feelings. I was wrong for that. I apologize."
Rosaline blinked, surprised for a moment, her expression tense. But then, she shrugged it off. "I was m angry, yeah But the PR team handled it. Just... don't say things in front of the media that could be taken the wrong way. It makes things difficult fortoo."
