from?” my mother asked.
“No, it hadn’t really happened to me. Why?”
She placed down her spoon, clearly done eating.
“I don’t want to sound all paranoid, but | saw this man; he was standing outside the pack house and just staring
at me. It was strange, but then he was... gone. For sreason, | feel like | know him from somewhere, but |
can’t quite place where.”
| paused eating. “Wait, how does this man look?” | asked her.
“Blonde hair, average height... | didn’t get much of him, but I felt like | had seen him before.”
| had every reason to believe that was Bruce; it just had to be.
He had promised he would stay away from her; why was he at the Raven Clan?
“Mom, listen to me: if you ever see that man again, run.”
“Run? Why?"
“Nothing, just run.”
“There has to be a reason; is he evil?” she asked.
“I can’t be sure if it's the sperson,” | lied, | was very sure. “But if it is, then that man is very dangerous, and
you have to be as far away from him as possible.”

“It’s fine.” | replied. She was after all the mother to my mate. Kate nodded before hurrying out of the office. She
wasn’t comfortable around me; | knew that, and | also knew that nothing I did would change that.
Regnux walked in next.
“So how are the pack members taking my little message?” | asked him.
“One thing is sure: no one would be trying to plot against the Luna anytsoon. But now they have other
suspicions, many believe you are a... Lycan, the rumour had been around for quite a long tnow but with your
show back there, it has becmore than just a mere rumour.”
“I know it wasn’t an Ideal solution.”
“But it was, this was an ideal solution. The news has already spread to a few other packs and many of them want
to form alliances with us. They fear us, Alpha.”
“We won't be forming any alliances just yet; at this point, it is going to be hard to tell who is loyal and who is
not.”
A knock on the door drew both our attention. It was Priscilla.
