Chapter 1399: "I've heard so much about you from Collier," Calan continued. "He never stops talking about how talented and wonderful his sister is. Now that I've met you, I understand why." Lilyana blinked, momentarily caught off guard. "Oh?" She turned toward Collier, silently questioning just how much he had shared about her.
Calan's gaze remained steady. "He's right, you know. You really are remarkable." His eyes flickered with amusement as he noticed the faint blush dusting Lilyana's cheeks. "No need to be embarrassed," he added gently.

His sister rarely blushed. Yet now, her face was noticeably red-more than it ever was after her dance performances.
Collier narrowed his eyes at Calan, then at Lilyana, sensing something unusual between them. But being too young to piece it together, he simply scratched his head and shrugged it off.
"Anyway!" Collier suddenly chimed in, eager to change the subject. "Calan, since you just moved in, why don't we take a look around?" Calan chuckled but nodded. “Sure, cin." Lilyana and Collier followed him inside. Though the villa stood right next to theirs, the interior was strikingly different-more spacious, with elegant furnishings that hinted at quiet luxury.
After showing them around, Calan led them to the living room, where they settled onto the plush sofa. Having served them drinks and snacks, Calan suddenly stood. "Givea second," he said before disappearing into another room.
When he returned, he held two small packages in his hands. Collier's eyes lit up. "Are those for us?" he asked eagerly, leaning forward.

It struck her that she had probably spoken more to Calan today than in all their previous encounters combined.
The three of them sat on the sofa, falling into an easy conversation.
As they talked, Lilyana found herself reevaluating Calan. At school, he had always seemed distant-someone who kept to himself and never bothered with small talk. But here, he was different. Warmer. More approachable. Was this the real him? Or was the Calan she knew at school the one who truly existed?
She wasn't sure yet. But as she pondered, her mother's words from earlier surfaced in her mind. A quick glance at the clock told her it was almost noon.

Collier grinned. "You have to try our chef's cooking! I promise, after one meal, you'll never want to eat anywhere else!"
