...…
When he was finally left alone, Shin could now have some free time to check out the things that he got from his quests and the event.
From the two quests that they had just cleared, Shin got two skill books. One was a Rare Tier 2 Skill while the other was an Epic Skill but with Tier 1 Level. The rewards that he got for being first on the event, on the other hand, not that special in his eyes.
Even though he got a couple of Intermediate Rank Enhancement Stone, he still couldn't use them now since most of his core equipments were all in Black Mithril Rank already while the others were at Platinum Rank.
So, he didn't have much use for these Enhancement Stones. At most, he could just use them to upgrade the other equipments on his other equipment slot that he brought to fill the empty spaces for his other equipment set.
The other items that Shin got were a strange sword and a Legacy Skill.
The first thing that Shin had checked was the strange sword. It is a pitch-black sword with a series of tear-like golden patterns on the middle of its 2-meter blade.
The guard of the sword looked like a pair of bat wings in golden color with a black rhombus-shaped in between of those wings. The black hilt of the sword had a somewhat common design aside from the sharp golden metal at the bottom of it which was similar to the kite tip of a spear.
Shin gripped the hilt of the sword in a slightly relaxed manner before swinging it forward as if he was using a whip.
Swoosh!
On the next instant, the blade of the sword suddenly separated itself in small v-shaped sections as it extended forward. In the middle of each separated part of the blade, Shin could see a thin black thread, connecting each of them.
Pak!
When the very tip of the sword reached its maximum range, Shin flicked his wrist slightly backwards and recalled the blades of the sword. After that, he gently did another flick with his wrist but towards the opposite direction, making the separated parts of the sword to combine once again.
Shin took another look at the sword before saying. "Not that bad. Now, let's see its stats."

Whistles~♪
Shin couldn't help but admire the sword after seeing its details. "What a very good sword. Whip swords are a mid-range weapon that is good for harassing enemies that have melee weapons. What's more, it also has a couple of immobilizing skills. Plus, it is also somewhat suitable for the 'Flash of Life' Epic Skill that I have."
After that, Shin looked at the details of the 'Mondi's Style' Legacy Skill and muttered to himself. "I already know where this is heading, but let's first see how much LP(Legacy Points) do I need to upgrade this one."
And when he saw the amount of Legacy Points that he needed to upgrade it to level 3, he couldn't help but cause out loud. "What the f*ck!? Fifty Legacy Points? Are you kidding me? All in all, I only have a total of 68 LP after all of those sufferings that I've gone through. And now, this skill wants me to use 50 of it just to upgrade it to another level?"
Shin took some time to regain his composure. Then he took a deep breath to further calm his mood down while convincing himself. "It is alright Shin. Just look at the positive side. With this skill, I can further have more secret weapons on your arsenal that can become your trump cards."
After that, he gritted his teeth before pressing the upgrade button of the skill before hitting the 'yes' button below the confirmation window that appeared after.
Then…
*Ding!*
System: Congratulations! You have upgraded your Special Legacy Skill to Level 3, removing some of its hidden restrictions.
Bonus note: Max the level of this skill to unlock all of its hidden potentials.
...
Shin was taken aback the moment he heard the sudden notification. And the moment he realized its meaning, he immediately reopened the information window of the skill without further ado.

Shin stared blankly at the skill details for quite some time before doing a double take on it, making sure that he was not seeing things. And when he confirmed that what he was seeing was real, he started laughing loudly as he couldn't hide his happiness.
"Hahaha… It is real! Hahaha… So, it is true that every sacrifice will always give you a good return. Now, I can always have some bonus stats every time I change forms! I am starting to love this skill more and more. Hehehe…"
After recovering himself, Shin proceeded to look at the other rewards that he got.

--------------------
Shin looked dumbfoundingly at the skill details of the two as he didn't know what actually to say. 'What the f*ck? Looking for OP skills? Here they are! Though, the MP cost were too much for me, they are skill a pair of f*cking killer skills.'
No question asked, Shin quickly learned the Skills without further ado.
After that, he proceeded looking at the best reward that he got from all of the skills that he got on this recent event.
But to his surprise, the system told him that he needed to spend 15 LP even if he just wanted to read it. "What!? And auto-learn skills?"
Shin hesitated for a moment since he didn't know if this skill was suitable for him. If it was a skill that was not meant for him, then he was just going to throw away his Legacy Points. But he also thought that since this skill was granted to him by the system as the reward of the event, it might be a suitable skill for him.
Having that thought in mind, Shin chose to gamble in it. And when he read the details, what he saw was something that was beyond his expectation.
--------------------
Skill Name: Regan's Method
Skill Rank: Legacy – I
Historical Note: Great Swordsman Regan was branded as someone that didn't have any talent in regard to Swordsmanship despite him loving the art of the sword too much.
But even if that was the case, he was too talented in the arts of Elementalism. So, he tried to find a way to combine his passion about Swordsmanship and his talent in Elementalism.
After years of research, he finally found a swordsmanship of his own.
Skill Details: Infused an elemental mana on your Sword Qi and transformed it into specialized sword spell.
Available sword spells:
Tier 1:
1. Cold Link (Active): Gathers a bunch of water/ice elemental mana on your sword before discharging it to send an ice bolt at your target, dealing 100% Magical Damage and slowing the target's movement speed by 30% for 4 entire seconds.
2. Burst Link (Active): Gathers a bunch of fire elemental mana on your sword before discharging it to send a fire bolt at your target, dealing 150% Magical Damage together with 5% burning damage for 4 seconds.
3. Binding Link (Active): Gathers a bunch of thunderbolt elemental mana on your sword before discharging it to send a lightning bolt at your target, dealing 100% Magical Damage, paralyzing the enemy for 2 seconds and dealing additional 5% static damage for 2 seconds (after the paralyzing effects).
4. Shadow Link (Active): Gathers a bunch of darkness elemental mana on your sword before discharging it to send a shadow bolt at your target, dealing 80% Magical Damage and weakening the enemy with 20% defense reduction (both physical and magical) for 3 seconds while also stunning the enemy for 1 second.
Note 1: All four spells have a shared cooldown of 5 seconds. At first usage, all fours spells could be used consecutively but the next spell would have a twice cooldown time than the previous one.
Example: If the first spell was used, it would have 5 seconds cooldown while the second spell would have 10 seconds and the third one would have 20 second (It doesn't matter even if the first skill was already cool-downed).
But if the second spell was used right after the cooldown of the previous spell, that spell would be counted as the first spell that would have a cooldown of 5 seconds.
Note 2: Upgrade this Skill to another level to unlock the upgraded version of these sword spells. (these spells would be retained)
Upgrading conditions: 70 LP
Hint: Find Regan's secret laboratory to learn the full mysteries of this skill.
-----------------------
At this point, Shin felt like his mind suddenly exploded as he couldn't believe what was in front of his eyes. If the first two skills were OP skills, then this one was a broken skill.
Even if the conditions to operate this skill was quite harsh since the cooldown might accumulate, Shin was still positively looking at the usage of this skill.
As long as he didn't spam these spells and was careful enough at cycling them, then he knew that this skill would be going to become yet another dope skill of his.
