Chapter 141 -CLARA- Sminutes later, Damon pulled away as he inspected my body with concern etched on his face.

"Are you okay, my love? Were you hurt anywhere?" He questioned before turning to stare at my face and I shook my head.

"No, they didn't hurt me. I'm okay" I replied and he heaved a sigh of relief before grabbing onto my face and slamming his lips on mine. He pulled away seconds later and he buried his nose on my neck, inhaling my scent. "Thank goddess, I was worried sick. I almost lost my mind" He murmured into my skin, sending shivers down my spine.

"What do you mean almost?" Luca uttered from behind as he walked towards us.

"Who drop you off? Your uncle?" Damon questioned, totally ignoring Luca's words and I nødded.

"Yes but if you're planning on searching for you, you shouldn't waste your time. He's long gone" I told him and he frowned.

"Now that you're back to me, I can finally focus on finishing off those b**ds. Let's get you home, you need to rest" He murmured as he caressedy cheek and since I was so tired, I didn't say anything and just nodded.

Damon ledto his car and as we drove off, I couldn't help but dread what was to cas I stared at the dead human bodies on the street.

I knew this was just the beginning and because of this, the Hunters were going to strike with full force.

I gasped as Damon suddenly pulledonto his lap and growled slightly as he inhaled my scent.

"F**k, I can almost not believe you're here right now, my love. I missed you so much. Don't ever leaveagain, I won't survive it. I can't breathe without you" He said toand the sincerity and sadness in his eyes madeheart ache.

I adjusted myself and grabbed onto his face before placing a soft kiss on his lips.

"I'm never leaving your side again" I reassured him before wrapping my arms around his shoulder and letting him rest his head on my chest.

We stayed in that position till we got back to the pack and to say j was happy to be back was an understatement. There really was no place like home.

Damon didn't let anyone talk towhen we got back and literally carriedall the way up to our room. "Everyone was waiting to speak with Mr, Damon. Letdown!" I yelled as I glared at him.

"I don't care, I have been away from you for weeks so now, I have to have my fill ov you beforr anyone else csn grt thr chance to breath in the sair as you" He uttered as he placeddown on my feet.

Before I could say anything else, he slammed his lips on mine and I didn't stop him nor fight him because I missed my husband more than anything.

The sex we had that day wasn't like any other sex we have had before. It held so much longing, so many promises and a love do overwhelming.

I moaned out his nwith my hand on his cheek as he thrusted intomercilessly as we both tried our best uo keep staring into each other's eyes but it was difficult because of the overwhelming pleasure I was feeling. Damon let out a groan as he leaned down and buried his head on my neck while I dragged my fingers along his neck and I moaned wildly.

I let out a sharp cry as he dug his fangs into my neck, not out of pain but because of the extrpleasure I felt afterwards.

"F**k, I can't!" I screamed as I pushed his chest. It's not like I wanted him to stop but the pleasure was too much forto hear.

"You can and you will" He growled as he raises up his head and stared down atas he increased his pace. "F**k, Damon!" I screamed as I dragged my fingers down his arm, staining my claws with his blood.

I didn't even know I was crying till Damon licked away my tears and began peppering my face with kisses. Our emotions were so heightened that we both couldn't stop ourselves from crying.

This break from each other just made us know just how much we need each other and can't live without one another.

"I love you" Damon murmured before he stilled and exploded insideand I cas well for the fourth time.

We stayed in that position for a while, none of us wanting to pull away. My heart was cracking so quickly, I almost thought I was going to have an heart attack.

Soon, Damon pulled out and laid down beside me.

"I hope I didn't hurt you or the baby?" He questioned softly as he placed his hand on my stomach and caressed it.

"No, I loved it and I missed you but I think I have to go see everyone now. They must feel bad because of m everything that happened. They need to know that I'm not mad at them” I explained to him but he just wrapped his arms around my waist, preventingfrom moving as he shook his head.

"I've not had my fill of you yet so no ond gets to see or talk to you. Now stay still, I want to hear our child" He said as he placed his head on my stomach which madesigh. "You're going to have to letgo at one point" I told him and he shook his head.

"I'll never let you go or let you out of my sight. The only way that's ever going to happen is if I'm dead" He uttered and from his tone, I knew something was brewing in that head of his. "You do know your little massacre is going to cause a war right? They're already out to get you, Damon and if..." "Do not worry yourself about that, Clara. I don't want you involved, leave everything to me. As long you and our baby is safe, nothing else matters to me. I'm ready to risk it all just to make them pay for taking you away from me...
