Chapter 410 As she looked at the car, Sienna instinctively glanced at the license plate number. It was Josiah's car.
The car stopped, and Josiah stepped out first. Seeing her took him by surprise, and he hesitated. He wasn't sure if he should greet her, having promised not to bother her anymore.
With determination, he turned away, walked to the back of the car, and retrieved the wheelchair from the trunk. He carried it to the steps, pushed it through the entrance, and placed it in the lobby.
After setting it up and securing the four corners, he went back down the steps, returned to the car, opened the passenger door, and leaned in. "Be careful, hold on tight." "Okay." The next moment, Josiah cout of the car carrying Yvette, walked straight up the steps, and placed her gently and steadily in the wheelchair.
He draped a blanket over her and said, "It's windy. You don't want to catch a cold. Wait here for me. I'll go park the car." "Okay." Yvette nodded with a chuckle.
As Josiah turned to leave, he noticed Sienna's slender frame. The temperature had dropped tonight, and she was only wearing a T-shirt. He wondered if she was cold.
Seeing her hugging herself, he assumed she must be. But now, he felt he was no longer in a position to care about her.
Josiah looked away, got back into the car, and drove toward the parking lot. Throughout the entire process, he behaved as though he hadn't noticed Sienna.

"Sienna," a voice called out at that moment. Yvette appeared from the lobby, pushing her wheelchair, and looked up with a smile. "It's been a while." "Yes, it has been," Sienna replied curtly, her brow furrowing slightly. She wondered why Yvette was here. They had nothing to discuss.
Yvette wasn't about to let Sienna off the hook. "I saw you with Josiah earlier. You two barely spoke. It's like you're strangers now. After breaking up, you're not even going to remain friends or siblings anymore?" Sienna's frown deepened, her expression turning stern. "You're right," she retorted with a scoff.
"Really?" Yvette didn't seem bothered by Sienna's scornful tone. She raised her eyebrows and said, "Well, you probably don't know that Josiah and I are together now." Sienna froze, and her eyes widened in shock.
"You heard right." Yvette laughed softly at Sienna's astonishment. "We both moved out of the Flynn residence. We live together now." Sienna's lips parted slightly. She felt a twinge of surprise, but not entirely. She knew Yvette was always a woman who went after what she wanted without hesitation and that Josiah already had feelings for her.
Yvette raised an eyebrow, a smug look on her face. "Don't you have anything to say?" Sienna couldn't find the words.
But soon, a realization struck her, and she smiled and said, "Well, congratulations on getting what you wished for." "Thank you," Yvette responded promptly.
Then, her eyes narrowed, and her voice took on a warning tone. "Sienna, you better keep this up. From now on, treat Josiah like a stranger. Don't speak to him at all." Sienna was surprised. Yvette was already staking her claim. Living together had changed her status and boosted her confidence.
At that moment, Cedric cjogging in from the courtyard entrance. "Sienna." Sienna looked up as Cedric reached her, still slightly out of breath. "Sorry, the meeting went a bit long. Have you been waiting long?" "No." Sienna smiled. "You arrived just in time. It's dinner time. Con in. The weather's changing, and the wind's picking up..." "Okay..." Cedric responded.
"Ah!" Sienna suddenly exclaimed as a gust of wind blew, causing her to cover her eyes.
"What's wrong?" Cedric asked, looking down at her nervously, his hands instinctively reaching out.
"I think..." Sienna closed her eyes, blinked a few times, and tried to open them, but she couldn't. "I think something got in my eye." "Lettake a look," Cedric said after a moment of hesitation. He reached out and cupped her head with one hand. "Which eye?" "The left one," Sienna answered, keeping her right eye open. "I don't know if it's sand." Tears streamed down from her closed left eye.
"Hold on..." Cedric raised his other hand, gently parting her left eyelid. "It's not sand; it's an eyelash." "No wonder it's so uncomfortable..." Sienna reached up to rub her eye.
"Don't move." Cedric grabbed her hand. "You can't see it yourself. Lethelp you..." "Okay." Sienna lowered her hand.
Cedric held her head, parting her eyelids and leaning in close to gently blow on her eye.
"Is it out?" Sienna asked.
"Not yet... almost... just a little bit more..." Cedric replied.
Not far away, Josiah emerged from the parking lot and saw Cedric with his back turned to him. Sienna was nestled in Cedric's arms. From Josiah's perspective, it looked as though they were kissing.

She thought, 'They've already broken up, so why can't he let her go?' She smiled faintly and continued, "Look at them. They can't even wait to find a private place to kiss. They're not afraid of being seen. ft seems they can't wait a moment longer. They just can't control themselves, huh?" Josiah's expression grew somber as he swallowed hard and stayed silent.
Sienna and Cedric remained completely unaware.
"Got it." Cedric released his hold. "Do you feel better now?" Sienna blinked, a bright smile gracing her lips. "Much better. Thank you."
"You're welcome." Cedric smiled faintly. Noticing her light clothing, he took off his suit jacket and draped it over her shoulders. "The weather's changed. You don't want to catch a cold." Sienna declined, "I'm fine... It's not cold inside." "You should still be careful." Cedric wouldn't let her refuse. "What if you catch a cold?" "Thank you. Let's hurry inside," Sienna said.
"Okay," Cedric replied.
Sienna wrapped herself in Cedric's jacket, and the two of them walked away, chatting and laughing.
Yvette sighed as she watched them
walk away. "They're moving really Then, m fast," she said enviously. Then, recalling something she added, "But they've always liked each other They should have been together ages ago, so it's not really that fast, is it?" "Yeah." Josiah's expression remained unchanged, and he didn't want to continue the conversation. "It's cold outside. Let's go in." As he unlocked the wheelchair and pushed Yvette inside, the image of Sienna and Cedric hugging and kissing flashed through his mind.
His grip tightened around the wheelchair, and his heart ached. The pain surged threatening to overwhelm him. He was the one who had nudged Cedric to go after Sienna. He wanted them to be happy.
Seeing them together, he should have felt joy, but instead, it pained him.
