Chapter 0765

The woman didn't respond immediately this time.

Suzy felt a flicker of hope-maybe she'd guessed correctly. Or perhaps the woman was just toying with her,

drawing out the suspense on purpose.

After all, Suzy had no real idea which one to choose. With the clock ticking down, she'd simply gone with her gut

and gambled everything on this one chance.

It was their last opportunity. She had no choice but to take the risk.

Finally, the woman spoke. "Well, | didn't expect you to actually pick the right one!"

Hearing those words, the breath Suzy had been holding finally released, and her pounding heart began to calm

just slightly.

She'd guessed correctly.

It seemed, for once, fate wasn't entirely cruel.

"Since | chose correctly, it's tfor you to honor your promise," Suzy said, stepping toward the real Diana.

"Hold it!"

The woman's voice rang out sharply, and immediately, the black-clad figure blocked Suzy's path.

"You guessed right, but that doesn't mean you've won this game. Why? Because you... ran out of time!

"You didn't make your choice within the allotted time. You waited until the clock hit zero and | prompted you. So,

technically, you've lost."

"If you want to cheat, just say so," Suzy retorted coldly.

"No need to make up excuses. | already knew you wouldn't lettake her so easily. Shamelessness is your

specialty, after all."

The woman chuckled. "A loss is a loss, and yet you think I'm making excuses? Suzy, if you can't handle losing,

just admit it."

Her voice grew colder, laced with malice. "Since you've lost, as | said before, you and all these people will die."

With a snap of her fingers, the woman signaled the black-clad figure, who began waking the unconscious

women.

"You all remember this," the woman said darkly to the confused group.

"The reason you're about to die is because of the woman standing in front of you."

The women's gazes shifted to Suzy, their eyes brimming with hatred as sharp as daggers.

Their fury was palpable, and their voices erupted in curses and screams, blaming her as they were dragged

toward the edge of the deck.

One by one, the fake Dianas were thrown into the churning sea, their cries of rage and despair echoing in Suzy's

ears.

The sight stabbed at her heart, leaving a bitter, suffocating pain.

She wanted to save them, but there wasn't even the slightest chance to intervene.

The woman casually tossed the fake Dianas into the sea, but the real Diana remained on the deck, still

unconscious.

"Oh, my apologies," the woman said smugly.

"Your sister-in-law isn't just hypnotized-she's injured, whichis why she hasn't woken up. But it hardly matters

now, does it? She won't wake up anyway, since she's going to die soon."

Suzy ignored the taunts and, with a swift kick knocked the black-clad figure blocking her path out of the way. She

rushed to Diana's side,

kneeling next to her still

form

Diana's breathing was faint, so shallow it seemed as though her life could slip away at any moment.

Seeing her like this filled Suzy with fear. Her lips trembled as she called softly, "Diana, wake up."

But Diana didn't stir, showing no response to her voice.

"Diana, please wake up," Suzy tried again, her voice breaking. "It's me, your sister-in-law. I'm here to take you

home..."

Tears threatened to spill as Suzy continued, her voice trembling with emotion. "Grandma and your brother are

waiting for us at home. They need you..."

Despite her pleas, Diana remained unresponsive, her condition unchanged.

"Don't bother," the woman's eerie voice echoed around them, sending chills down Suzy's spine.

"She's too gravely injured to respond."

The woman's tone turned mocking.

"Oh, and | forgot to mention. Do you know why she's hurt? It's because she didn't

wantto cafter you. She tried to fight me."

The woman chuckled darkly, her voice full of malice.

"A pampered young lady like her, fighting me? She was no more than an ant crawling at my feet. Naturally, |

didn't take her seriously. | even gave her a chance, but she refused to take it."
