Chapter 51
Lilac was too shock to comprehend her surroundings, she had never seen a pack house this magnificent like this and even more
when she realized this place was literally a castle with towers. This was crazy! Who would live in a place like this?!
Lilac was captivated by what she was seeing, she looked around this place and was fascinated by the rock that they used to
build this building. It looked sturdy and strong. It almost felt like this pack house showed the stark difference between the
werewolf and the lycan.
They were shifter, but for some reason, they were simply different from one another, because while the former believed in
soulmate and was gifted with the mate bond, but the latter would choose their own woman, who they would spend the rest of
their life with.
Lilac was not sure, which one was better, but surely from what she learned, the lycan would go through fire and water just to be
with the mate they had chosen. That was why, there was saying about; love someone like a lycan, which meant; it was a fierce
and devoted love.
The cold wind made Lilac shivered when she walked across a garden. It was still early morning and even though the sun had
risen, the wind was still cold, because they were so close to the mountain. The air was very refreshing.
“Wait... how can I go back to that bedroom?” Lilac just realized it now, because she was very mesmerized by this place, she
forgot that she had gone too far and she was not sure, which corridor she had gone through, because of how big this place was,
she was a little bit dizzy when she tried to find her way back, because the corridors looked the same.
All the people that she met gave her a questioning look, because this must be the first time for them to see her here.
“Hm... excuse me.” Lilac tried to be brave and stopped a lady to ask her about where they were now. “May I know where... the
alpha’s bedroom?”
Her voice was a little bit unsure, because she only knew Hunter was the alpha, but it would be so weird for her to ask his
bedroom, right?
The lady was around forty years old, she looked like in the same age like luna Jasmine, but of course, you couldn’t compare
both.
Alpha’s bedroom?” the lady narrowed her eyes, she stared at Lilac up and down. “I have never seen you before. Who are you?”

This corridor was not too crowded, but at least, there were five people, who stopped walking and openly listening to their
conversation, they were waiting for Lilac’s answer too, because they had been very curious enough to know who was Lilac and
why she was in the pack house.

More so, she was asking about the alpha’s bedroom, what she was going to do there?

“Who are you?” That lady asked again with narrowed eyes. “You are not the member of our pack, you are not a lycan.”
Little bit
“I...” Lilac was a little bit stumbled with her words because she didn’t know what to say to this lady about herself. Would it put her
in an awkward situation if she said she was from Golden Claw pack? “I came here with the alpha...”
“You came here with the alpha? The alpha just arrived last night. What do you mean you came here with him?” The lady became
even more curious and the spectators came closer to them. They wanted to hear more about this. conversation.
Thankfully, right at that time, Darren walked over. He had been looking for Lilac because not long after she had gone, Hunter
woke up and couldn’t find her.
“Here you are!” Darren said with a sigh of relief, as he approached Lilac.
“Beta Darren,” the lady greeted the beta, so did all the people there, they showed him a huge respect and even bend down their
b*dy.
“What are you doing here?” Darren simply nodded at them, but his focus was on Lilac,
“L. I looked around, but I think I got lost.” Lilac felt relief as well to see the face that she was familiar with.
“Beta Darren, do you know this woman? She is not from our pack. I have never seen her before, the lady immediately said. She
was surprised for this mysterious woman to be looked for by the beta.
“Yes, I know her.” Darren nodded.
On the other hand, Lilac stared at Darren and then the lady. “I think I will take my leave with the beta.”
Who is she?”
Apparently, the lady didn’t want to let go of Lalar yet, she wanted to know

everything about her and more so what the relation between her and the alpha and why she wanted to go there.
“Don’t worry, she is not an enemy, she is the alpha’s guest. She just arrived last. night.”
What Darren said confirmed what Lilac had told the lady earlier, but still, this was not a satisfying answer for them.
Even so, Darren wouldn’t stay there and entertain them to fill their curiosity, as he opened his arm for Lilac to follow him.
“Come, follow me.” Darren showed the way to Lilac and she didn’t need to be told twice to follow him, because she had been
feeling uneasy with the way they stared at her.
After that, Lilac could feel her back was getting so hot, she was sure they were staring at her back right now and the way they
fixed their eyes on her made her back felt like it would have a permanent hole.
Lilac hastened her pace, she wanted to get away from their sight as soon as possible.

However, walking around like this with the beta of the pack, didn’t help with her case, because some of them were having the
same curiosity.
“Next time, don’t walk around like this again,” Darren warned her. “They are being suspicious because of the war that happened
in the last year.”
“Yes.” Lilac felt like she was a toddler, who got reprimanded for being a brat.
Darren glanced at Lilac. “I don’t know what the alpha have planned for you, but I only want to warn you, once they learned where
you came from, it will be hard for you to find a friend. All the pack member despises your pack and the other five packs. They
disliked the werewolf after what they had put us through during the
war.
Lilac frowned. “Isn’t it you and your people, who has attacked our land, because you want to expand your territory?”
Darren raised his brows, both of their eyes met and Lilac could see confusion there. “So, that’s what you and your pack member
has been told about the reason of the war last year?” He widened his eyes in disbelieve and then burst into laughter.

“What are you laughing about?” Lilac was a little bit offended, because she didn’t find it funny at all, so why he was laughing
hysterically like this?
“You don’t know the reason why there were countless people died? No.” Darren shook his head and then wiped tears from the
corner of his eyes. “You are being a fool... Those alphas are the worst.”
“What do you mean?” Lilac became even more confused now, she looked a little bit concerned with this matter, she was afraid
she had been told a lie. “If that’s not the reason, so what the true reason?”
She was not sure, whether she could tell, which side was right, but it was always a great thing to do to hear both sides.
“Since it was Hunter, who has taken you to this pack, let him to explain this messy thing to you. I don’t have the patient.” Darren
pushed opened the door to Hunter’s bedroom.
Because of their conversation, Lilac didn’t even realize they had arrived, returned to this bedroom again.
“Where did you find her?”
Lilac was startled when she saw Hunter poked his head from the bedroom and then grabbed her hand, he pulled her into his
bedroom, in front of so many eyes.
If earlier she felt uncomfortable, because they were staring at her for walking with the gamm a, now their jaw literally dropped to
the floor when they watched how she entered the alpha’s bedroom.
No one ever entered the alpha’s bedroom, aside from-his beta and gamm a, not even Grace, because he hated it when there
was someone else there.
Who was this woman?!
Darren clicked his tongue when he watched the reaction from people around him. He knew the words would spread far and wide
and surely Grace would hear about
And once it happened, the drama would begin.
He only hoped, he wouldn’t get caught in the wild fire,.
