Chapter 2981 - Yi Daiyan the Despicable

The announcement from the dozens of cosmic cartographers resonated in the Sky Palace Formation nonstop. "You may now prostrate yourselves to surrender. The first rex mundi and the Infinitum Bodhimanda will only give you the span of sixty breaths to make up your minds. All that do not prostrate shall be charged with treason and share the crimes of Lin Feng and Lin Xiaodao!"

The five million astral gods emerged from their ships, glaring at the denizens of the Sun. While they believed that they were standing on the side of righteousness, they noticed that not a single person among the trillions in the Sky Palace Formation had prostrated themselves. Even as twas running out, they merely glared back at the invaders.

"Yield and be spared! Otherwise, say your goodbyes to this world! You’re all citizens of the Infinitum Bodhimanda, so we don’t wish to exterminate you. Don’t force us to punish you according to the Code of Infinitum!" Yushan Taifeng and the rest reiterated Yi Daiyan's will. Tianming thought they wouldn't threaten the common folk, but that didn't seem to be the case.

"Yield! Admit your fault! Repent while you still can!" echoed the five million astral gods.

However, every single denizen of the Sun stood in solidarity and merely proudly glared back at the astral gods, causing them to shut up. They hadn't imagined that their threats wouldn't work in the slightest.

"What kind of drug did Lin Feng feed them? Why are they so confident in him?"

"No idea. They look like they've been brainwashed or something."

Having not witnessed the intensity of the battle that had recently taken place on the Sun, they wouldn't understand. The situation ended up being quite awkward as the allotted tgot shorter and shorter. Before it even ended, Xiaodao mocked the regal clan leaders from his ship. "You guys sure took your sweet time! "Don't even think of pinning this on me! You're

the ones that threatened the common people right after coming here! How are you any different from the despicable foreign invaders from Intrepidus and Myriadpath Valley, or the wonderians? Not even Shenxi Xingtian threatened to massacre the entire star! Are you guys worse than the ebons after all?!" Xiaodao's words incited many echoes of agreement.

"Impudence! Don't use your sophistry to flip things around! You were the ones who broke the Code of Infinitum!" Sayedi cried.

Xiaodao laughed, "Don't even bring up the Code of Infinitum! That's merely a weapon you guys wield, not a standard of justice! We only deal in the truth! The entire Swordgod Lin Clan agreed to fight by your side against the ebons and the foreign invaders, yet you treated us as cannon fodder and broke your oath, leaving trillions of normal folk for dead! And all for what? So that your ruler, Yi Daiyan, can chere to pick up what's left and secure the rule of the Infinitum Bodhimanda? Tellwhere you got the gall to do something so underhanded and still call the way to us to preach about righteousness!"

Countless others immediately chimed in with furious agreement. And not a single one of them yielded.

"Yeah! Shameless!"

"Leave the Sun!"

Curses began shaking the entire area, becoming louder than the announcement the Ebonians had just given. It was the will of the denizens of the Sun, the foundation of Tianming's sovereignty. Not even Yi Daiyan would ever be able to shake it. Yushan Taifeng and the rest could do naught but sigh and shake their heads.

"They're possessed!"

"They're all brainwashed and don't know right from wrong."

"What a bunch of short-sighted vermin, siding with a child of around a hundred years old...."

The leaders of the regal clans weren't reacting too well to the sight.

"Forget it! They've simply been poisoned by Lin Xiaodao and Lin Feng. They deserve to be pitied. I believe that only martial force can make them realize the error in their ways. Let's report this to the rex mundi!" Yushan Taifeng said.

"Let's go!"

The leaders of the Eastapex Skyshaker Clan, Central Shuntian Clan, sanctlighters, and others had grown used to their new roles as Yi Daiyan's lackeys, dutifully carrying out their tasks. Starting from the ships of the Greenhill Yushan Clan, they rained down an endless meteor shower of blasts.

The Sky Palace Formation rumbled above the countless folk it protected. Those inside saw nothing but concentrated blasts of nova source; the flaming clouds above were completely blocked out. It was as if the entire world was exploding around them. No matter how strong their faith was, many of them began feeling fear and worry in the face of such pressure.

"They're going too far!"

"Damn that shameless Yi Daiyan and her dogs that loyally wag their tails at her!"

"We were the ones that were ultimately responsible for taking out the two main ebon bases!"

The rage and utter betrayal the Sun’s people felt had been brewing across all those incidents.
