Chapter 1228: Part 2: New weapons

From MC’s Perspective;

"Master, I want this long black sword. I’m not worried about its connections," I said.

"Okay," Austin replied.

Then he removes the glass top cover before getting the long black sword. It weighs heavily. Only the Black Mark Warrior and above can handle it.

He then gives it to Zack Lockwood. I accepted the sword and tightly gripped its handle. The next second, I felt the heavy weight pushing my arm downward.

I used a little of my strength to stabilise. Then I took a few steps backwards and tried to swing it.

At the stime, Austin said, "I don’t know the origin of the sword. But it was made from an unknown material. It can handle any type of violent force."

"I think you have chosen a suitable item," he added.

He had thought about the blood element. The next second, he shakes his head. He forgot that Zack Lockwood’s element was not the sanymore. He got the water variant now.

On the other hand, I didn’t pay attention to the Master’s change in expression. I’m swinging the sword. It was a bit difficult. Because it’s different from my usual black sword.

The current long black sword is larger and heavier. I wanted to use the force to check it out. Then I recalled the staff. I held the sword in my hand before walking towards the glass box again.

"Do you need something?" Austin asked.

"I need staff as well," I said.

"Are you sure? You will be putting extra energy into learning new weapons and techniques," Austin said with concern.

"Master, I want to have my own trump cards as well. The staff is going to be one of my trump cards," I explained to him.

Hearing that Austin was surprised. Then he realises that Zack Lockwood is preparing for future trouble as well.

"As you wish," After saying that, he pointed towards a long white staff.

"Do you see that?"

"That staff was custom-made. The white staff is nothing but the bones of a foreign creature. I got it during the battle against the Purple level foreign creature."

"Later, I checked it for any hidden dangers. But there were no hidden dangers. The bone staff is extremely strong and can handle Inheritance force as well," Austin said in a calm tone.

On the other hand, I was dumbfounded again. I got another weapon at the level of purple mark. My gaze immediately fell on the white bone staff.

Intricate designs run through the staff’s body. The appearance itself is attractive.

"I like it," I said.

"You can try," After saying that Austin removed the cover again to get the white bone staff.

Then he handed it over to Zack.

I placed the long black sword on the ground. Then I grabbed the staff. The next second, I felt the enormous weight again. I immediately used my strength to stabilise myself.

I can imagine the power of the foreign creature that once was part of the bone. Then I used both hands to lift it up and started trying to swing it around.

Austin is observing everything. Seeing that Zack Lockwood took a liking to it. He was glad. He knows that Zack Lockwood hasn’t stuck to any particular weapon or technique.

He practised everything. If it’s helpful to kill an enemy, then he will learn it.

As tpassed, I switched the weapon to the long black sword and started swinging it again. I liked it more. I don’t have to look for another inventory.

I took a liking to these 2 weapons right away.

"Master, I made a choice. I will take these 2 weapons," I said to Master.

"Okay," Austin replied with a smile.

Then I collected the 2 weapons into my storage ring.

"Do you have any staff technique with you?" Austin asked.

Hearing that I shook my head and said, "I’m thinking about checking our university site."

"You don’t have to," Austin said all of a sudden.

Hearing that, I looked at him in surprise.

"You have water type Inheritance right now. As we discussed before, we are looking for Inheritance. Which could help you practise all three elements."

"I will see if there is any blood or lightning-related staff techniques," Austin said.

Hearing that I was stunned. I forgot about the lie as well. Fortunately, I didn’t reveal anything about the battles in our conversation.

I already have three Ancient inheritances with me. If I took an incomplete healing technique. It’s also considered an Ancient One.

If the Master would bringanother one, then I don’t know what to do.

"It’s okay, master. For now, I just need a simple technique to get started," I said.

"Okay, you can focus on your training hereafter," Austin said.

Then we both decided to leave. Austin closed the glass table.

We walked out of the basement and exited his room. Then we cto the hall. I told the master that I’m going to the Inner Hall to practise.

"I think you will get peace tfor a few days. So don’t waste the time," Austin said with a smile.

Hearing that I knew Master meant the small competition conducted by the Elemental Factions. Then I nodded to him before leaving the residence.

I exited the Golden Lightning Palace and started going towards the exit. On the way, I cacross the members.

They all greetedwith respect. Including the Black Mark Warriors. The Silver and Gold Mark Warriors were nowhere to be seen.

Apart from a few people, most of them were stationed in the various warrior camps.

Soon, I reached the exit and walked out of the ThunderflFaction. Then I started heading towards the Inner Hall. I don’t know whether anyone will be practising inside the Inner Hall.

About a few minutes later,

I arrived at the Inner Hall. No one was waiting at the entrance. I scanned my ID before entering the hall. The next second, I saw no one inside.

But I’m sure there will be a few warriors from other factions who must be here. I started heading towards the training facility.
