After dealing with Florence, Dahlia turned to Dustin and said calmly, “Dear sir, miss, I’m very sorry for what

happened earlier. I assure you there won’t be a next time. My apologies again for the disturbance.”

After she spoke, she lowered her head slightly to show her sincerity. The crowd nodded in approval as they watched

her apology.

As Sir Mosey’s goddaughter, her status was second only to him. And offering a public apology was a level of

humility not easily found. Her awareness of putting the situation first made the public realize that Sir Mosey had put

his trust in the right person.

“There’s no need for such formality, Ms. Nicholson. We never wanted to make the situation worse. Having this

resolved peacefully was the best outcome we could ask for.” Dustin nodded slightly.

“Sir, you are indeed a sensible man. May I ask for your name?” Dahlia asked politely.

“I’m Rhett Adams. And this is my sister, Abigail Adams,” Dustin replied.

“Mr. and Ms. Adams, welcome. You are our guests, so please take a seat upstairs.” Dahlia nodded. As she spoke,

she gestured for a waiter and arranged front seats for Dustin and Abigail.

“Thank you.” Without hesitation, Dustin led Abigail to their seats in the front row. They had drawn quite the

attention, but luckily, it didn’t escalate into a full- blown conflict. It seemed unlikely to affect their plans.

“Dahlia, why were you so kind to them? I’d have kicked them out. They’re clearly no one important,” Florence

complained.

“Are you not ashamed of your words?” Dahlia gave her a cold glance.

“Don’t you know what would have happened if the situation escalated? Once word gets out, the Moseys will be

known as bullies. And the reputation Godfather had built for a decade would be tarnished!”

“It’s not that serious. We were just teaching two ignorant people a lesson. What does it have to do with Sir Mosey’s

reputation?” Florence thought Dahlia was making a mountain out of a molehill.

“Not that serious? Open your eyes and look around you. Who are the people in attendance today?” Dahlia was

disappointed.

She went on, “Creating such an absurd spectacle in the presence of these influential people is a slap to Godfather’s

face.

“Did you even think of the consequences if someone with malicious intent took advantage of the situation and

spread damaging news?”

As the saying went, “great power invited great scrutiny”. The Moseys drew considerable attention, and they had to

approach every matter carefully. They had to prevent others from gaining the upper hand to prevent any potential

threat.

“I… How would I know there would be consequences? Besides, it wasn’t my fault,” Florence said guiltily.

“That’s enough!” Dahlia frowned.

“I don’t care what the reason was, but all of you must remember one thing. You must think about the bigger picture

today. Don’t do anything that would damage the Moseys’ reputation. Do you hear me?”

“We understand.” Florence, Julie, and the rest nodded repeatedly. They finally realized the gravity of the situation.

While they were used to being arrogant in the past, they had to restrain themselves for today’s special occasion.

“Alright, now grab a seat for yourselves. And don’t cause any more trouble,” Dahlia reminded them before

returning to her tasks.

As she was now in charge of more than half of the Moseys’ businesses, she had become the family’s de facto

manager.

More guests had arrived as time passed. Influential figures were walking into the guest lounge one after the other.

As noon approached, Sir Mosey, the birthday star, finally made his formal entrance. Under the gaze of the crowd, a

middle-aged man in traditional clothing walked in with a gentle smile.

He had a slightly plump figure, kind eyes, and lacked the imposing aura of an authoritative figure, appearing quite

down-to-earth.

At first glance, he seemed like a regular middle-aged man from the neighborhood. However, as soon as he

entered, all of the guests in the hall stood up.

“Greetings, Sir Mosey!” they said respectfully in unison.

“Alright, alright, there was no need for that. Please take a seat and make yourselves at home,” Seamus said with a

warm smile.
