Just as we reached the front gate, | saw Nathan waiting under a tree. | waved goodbye to the others and headed

| blinked, then shot him a mock glare. “Since when are college students twenty-seven?”
Nathan just looked at me, his gaze steady. “Your face is way too good at fooling people.”
“I'll take that as a compliment,” | said, grinning.
