Calliope glanced at Silas, raising an eyebrow. "So, who exactly are you planning to livestream this to?" Silas smirked, his lips curling up. "The family group chat, of course. There's a ton of people in there, aren't there? If she's not embarrassed by her own behavior, let the whole Baker clan see what kind of person she really is. Christmas is right around the corner. Might as well stir things up a bit before the holiday dinner." Calliope shot Silas a surprised look. He really didn't pull his punches.

He had a point, though. With the holidays coming up, sharing Yvette's little stunt in the family chat would make things... interesting. Once everyone gathered for the annual Christmas turkey and mashed potatoes, would Yvette even be able to show her face? Heck, not just Yvette, even Gideon and Fleur would want to crawl under the table.

Gideon's family was a mess. First the mother and son embarrass themselves, now his wife too? Honestly, it was almost impressive how dedicated they were to causing . It was like they'd all made a pact to lose their minds at the stime.

"I love it. I'm in," Calliope grinned. She wasn't exactly the forgiving, gentle type, especially if someone tried to steal her husband.

If Yvette wanted to make a scene, then she deserved a little taste of her own medicine. Silas wasn't just anyone, and Calliope was done playing nice. Now that she actually cared about him, she wasn't letting anyone mess things up.

Besides, Gideon had been handed to her on a silver platter, why should Yvette get to snatch up everything Calliope cared about? She couldn't help but feel a bit disgusted by Yvette.

Meanwhile, Silas's stand-in was already standing outside the door of the hotel suite Yvette had booked. He had the livestream feed up on his phone, ready to go.

Without saying a word, Silas dropped the livestream link right into the Baker family group chat.

The Baker family was huge-cousins, aunts, second cousins twice removed, you nit. Usually, the group chat was dead quiet, especially when Silas spoke up. People tended to keep their heads down when he was around.

But this twas different. After sharing the livestream, Silas sent a big ol' digital gift card. And just like that, the group chat exploded, especially the younger family members.

Everyone scrambled to claim their share. And of course, after grabbing the gift card, everyone chimed in to thank Silas.

[Thanks, Uncle Silas!] [Wow, Uncle Silas is feeling generous today! Dropping a gift card this big before Christmas. Are you Santa now?] [Hey, Uncle, what's this livestream all about?] [Silas, you're actually alive in the group chat? What's the occasion?] [I'm a little lost here. What's this livestream for?] [Uncle Silas, give us a hint! If you need anything done, just say the word. Though, hey, if you want keep spreading the wealth, we're not complaining!] Calliope watched the chaos, then decided to join in. She sent her own digital gift card.

Calliope: [Check out the livestream, everyone. Just watch to the end. Trust me, it's worth it.] [Whoa, it's Aunt Callie! Aunt Callie's even more generous than Uncle Silas!] The compliments started rolling in.

Silas was grinning ear to ear, so he sent out another huge gift card, this tsingling out the biggest flatterers with a little extra.

The group chat went wild. For the first tin ages, the Baker family group was buzzing with excitement. Everyone promised they'd tune into the stream.

Of course, since neither Calliope nor Silas explained what the livestream was actually about, xoone really knew what was coming. But if Silas wanted them to watch, they knew there had to be a good reason.
