Back in the day, it was indeed her mentor who asked for her help. Her mentor was quite the enigma. He taught
her almost everything she knew; her skills were nearly all thanks to him.
She met him when she was just a toddler, barely over the age of two, during her days in the countryside.
Even at that young age, she was lively and full of energy, always darting around on little adventures. Sometimes,
before her grandpa even realized it, she'd be off
and gone.
One evening, just like any other, she ran off to chase the neighbor's big dog. She was so quick that she tumbled
right into a ditch.
That was where she found her mentor. He was badly injured, lying in that deep ditch. If it hadn't been for her, it's
unlikely anyone would have found him.

She could barely talk back then, but she knew he was bleeding. So, with the help of the neighbor's trusty golden
retriever, she scrambled out of the ditch.
She dashed back hto get help. She couldn't articulate what had happened, so she simply grabbed her
grandpa's hand and led him to the ditch.
When he hesitated to look down, she rolled back into the ditch, and that's when her grandpa saw her mentor.
Later, her grandpa called for help to rescue him.
As he recovered, her mentor noticed her natural talent for physical skills, so he began to teach her. Initially, it
was just an experiment, but he was surprised at how quickly she learned.
She doesn't remember exactly how fast she picked things up, but he claimed he had never seen a kid learn so
rapidly.
He started with simple techniques, and she absorbed them instantly. As he increased the difficulty, she
continued to excel.

permission from his superiors to have her help train sspecial forces.
Sometimes, he'd lead a team, and she'd lead another. That's when the rumors started: the Frostwolf team was
trained by a little kid!
Calliope reminisced about those days. She missed her grandpa a lot. Both her
mentor and grandpa had been incredibly good to her.
In fact, it was her grandpa who encouraged her to learn self-defense. Her mentor hadn't initially intended to
teach her, but at grandpa's urging, he agreed, as a way to repay her for saving his life.
He never expected her to be such a quick study. Eventually, he taught her everything he knew. And she

But after sincidents at Frostwolf, she left after leading just two sessions. She had no idea where her mentor
was now.
He'd left after the troubles at Frostwolf too, and had been missing since. He didn't even return when her grandpa
passed away.
Yet she was convinced he was alive somewhere. He was too skilled to meet with any harm. Over the years, she
had tried to track him down, hoping to find him again.
Calliope reflected on her past life, finding sparts almost
laughable. Despite her abilities, she had been infatuated with Gideon, so much so that she lost sight of her own
strengths. When trouble came, she didn't even know how to fight back. Later, she was drugged. Her end was
tragic.
Fortunately, she got a second chance. However it cabout, she was grateful for it.
The only regret was not returning to a twhen her grandpa was alive. She missed him terribly.
