Chapter 493 Chapter 493 Mack's p.o.v.

After Maleah read a part of Alpha Bradley's file with me, she made a few calls and she decided that tonight she would take out the other Alpha. Caspara will be joining her and even though I know that my Mate is capable of looking out for herself, I don't like the idea of her going after that Alpha with Caspara.

Yeah, I know I am an Asshole. Levi and Kay pointed that out when I made my concerns known, I didn't understand why it botheredand Dad had to spell it out for me.

I don't know what kind of Assassin Caspara is and that hasworried. "Do you think it would be fair if Maleah told Matthew he couldn't calong, just because she never worked with him before?" Diego had asked.

My first reaction was to object, because Matthew is a very skilled Assassin. It wasn't until Commander askedhow Maleah was supposed to know that, that I started to understand.

Caspara has been a member of Maleah's team for years and they have worked together on many assignments. Maleah wouldn't take Caspara along if she doubted her abilities, just like I wouldn't take along an Assassin that wasn't fully trained.

Maleah knew from her Father that Matthew is one of our best Assassins and for that reason she didn't hesitate to bring him along. I need to trust my Mate, she has worked with Caspara before and knows if she is up to the task.

At the moment Caspara is helping Maleah prepare the Formobital and Kay explained into detail how this potion works. It will make a bloody mess of the scene, just like it did with the Xurmella that Maleah and I used and I feel sorry for whomever finds this Moron.

Harvey has decided that we need a distraction from Maleah's assignment and that means that we are going to make a plan to take down Alpha Bradley.

Once we have taken care of Alpha Bradley, Harvey is going to make sure that the world knows why these Wolves were taken down and if anyone would ever be so stupid to try something similar we will take them down.

We have just laid out all the information, when Caspara and Maleah walk into the room and our Mate looks murderous.

"He has doubled the guards around the Pack-house and tripled his Warriors on border patrol. I think we really spooked him." Maleah says, sitting down on Levi's lap.

Somehow, she always seeks out Levi when she is upset. He seems to calm her in a way Kay and I can't, but it doesn't botheras much as I thought it would. She is our Mate and she finds something in each of us that she needs.

She comes to me, when she needs an honest opinion and she knows I will always tell her how I feel about a situation or what I think about a piece of information.

Kay is the one she goes to, when she needs confirmation on a pattern she has found and I love hearing them argue about it. Our Mate needs the three of us and we need her.

I watch her as she is trying to fight against sleep taking over, her eyes slowly closing with her head on Levi's shoulder.

I take the file that Harvey is holding in front ofand after one more look at our Mate, I open the file to read the emails between Alpha Bradley and Elder Morton.

After reading a few pages, I notice that Levi is leaving the room and I know we won't see him again unti Maleah wakes up. It will also give Levi tto think about whatever is running around in his mind and he gets to spend a few hours alone with our Mate.

The only reason I am able to stay in control of Commander, is that he knows that Maleah wants to take out Alpha Bradley herself or reading through this file would have send him off the deep end.

Why someone would want to have sex with an underaged girl is beyond me. I will probably never understand how someone can hurt another, whether it is physical or mental.

I know there is a lot of good in the world, but with all the evil I have seen, a good deed surprisesevery tand I always treasure each of them. Waking up to see Mate in bed with us is also a good way to push the evil out of my mind.

our Commander becomes agitated all of a sudden and I can feel that Titan is agitated as well, but I don't think it has anything to do with the files in our hands.

"Go see Mate." Commander growls in my head and I place the file on the coffee table, followed by Kay.

We both take the stairs two steps at a tand I reach our bedroom a second before Kay does. Maleah is staring at Levi in shock and I slowly step further in to the room.

"What is wrong, Angel?" I ask her, but she doesn't respond to my question and even Levi doesn't respond to my question.

I watch Maleah's face, as she is she sees staring at Levi. I doubt that she sees him, because it is cleak that she is in is alconversus it alconversation with Fortune and hearing her irregular heartbeat I know that something is wrong. Levi slowly comes out of his shock and turns his head towardsand Kay, "Listen very carefully." Is all he says through our mind-link.

The only sound I hear is Maleah's irregular heartbeat and I focus on it to find out what Lewy meant with listening carefully. It is almost as if I am hearing multiple heartbeats and that is when I realize what Levi was talking about. sŵ Maleah's heartbeat isn't irregular, I am hearing more than one heartbeat and I slowly approach the bed.

"I'm pregnant." Maleah whispers, as m she places her hand on her belly. "With triplets." That Yast piece of information blows my mind and I can feel excitement from Kay and Levi, but I am not sure if I am that excited.

Kay and Levi have their arms wrapped around our Mate and I just stand there at the foot of the bed, staring at our Mate.
