Chapter 463 Chapter 463 Dominic's p.o.V.
I am still trying to wrap my head around everything we discovered when I smell the scent of my Mate, I don't think about it twice before I wrap my arms around her and bury my nose in her neck. I feel relief wash overas she wraps her arms around my neck and I know I owe her a huge apology, something we will do in front of the Pack. They need to see and know that Delaney is our Mate, that she is their Luna and they need to know we will always have her back.
We all listen to Harvey as he informs us of what he found and I am surprised that everyone was able to control their Lycan. I watch Harvey and Pauline walk out of the living room to relieve our Warriors from border patrol and I link them to make sure they understand that they have to be at the Pack-house as soon as they can. After one of our older Pack-members has linkedthat everyone is present, we all head out to the Pack-house.
My Brothers and I apologize to Delaney one by one and every tone of us apologizes I see our Pack-members nod with approval. Dad isn't too pleased with what we are doing, but I hadn't expected Mom to blow a gasket and I am glad she has her friends with her as I watch her walk away from the front porch. Dad is furious when his former leadership guides him to our office, but I don't care and neither does anyone else.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtI introduce Maleah to the Pack as the Mate of their Beta, Gamma and Head Assassin, it is only fair that everyone knows she will have a lot to say within this Pack. I am glad I have Delaney in my arms the moment Dad starts speaking and both her hands move to my Brothers, calming all three of us down. I know I don't want him to say a word, I just need him to listen to what we have to say and just follow orders like every other Pack-member. "Dad, we are the Alphas of Blood Crescent Pack. You handed over that title to us and that means you no longer have a say in how this Pack gets run. Delaney is this Pack's Luna and we will have her Ceremony after the Spring Ball, she will beca Luna in every sense of the word. Delaney will have the power to punish a Pack-member, she will have the power to make decisions and all you have to do is follow orders." I say as I look at Dad.
The look in his eyes tellsthat he isn't agreeing withand I make it clear that if he goes against his Luna he will get punished, just like every other Pack- member. His former title as Alpha of Blood Crescent Pack holds no power and he will never out rank Delaney or Maleah. He head snaps towards Maleah at the mention of her name, "Use that aura onever again and I will make you pay. Last tyou caughtoff guard, but I am warning you I will never allow it again." He growls at her.
Maleah just smiles at him before she tells him to try her and I know he will be on his knees before any of us can blink our eyes. "Max, if I need to release my aura you won't stand a chance. Last tI didn't let you feel my full aura and if that ever does happen not even my Alphas will be left standing." She growls at him and I gulp loudly at the indication of her words, not that I am doubting Maleah's words.
"Dad, we are serious. Delaney and Maleah outrank you and I suggest you keep that in mind. I also suggest that you make amends with Mom or I will support her request for a rejection with the Elders." Dax says and I know we will all support Mom in whatever she decides to do. Dad is looking furious from one to the other and before any of us can move he lunges over the desk at Delaney, Dillon and Dax throw themselves in front of her while Mack and Levi jump on his back.
My arms are wrapped tightly around our Mate and I almost lose control to my Lycan when I hear her scream in pain. Dillon and Dax roar as Dad gets pulled of us, but it isn't Mack or Levi that pulled him off of us. "Get her to the infirmary, I will deal with this." Maleah growls as her eyes are glued on Dad's body, lying in a heap near the backwall of our office.
I don't care what Maleah does to my .n Father, all I can think of is my unconscious Mate in my arms and my Brothers follow us with the others right behind them. Doc is already waiting for us when we finally get to the infirmary, not that it is that far from the Pack house but it sure as hell felt like it and I actually growl when he wants to take Delaney away from me. Colter and Diego release their aura to maketake a step back, so Doc can look after his Luna.
There are a few nurses walking around but they quickly walk away, my Brothers and I have trouble reigning in our Alpha aura and even Diego and Colter stay out of our way. I still can't believe that Dad attacked our Mate, that he was willing to face serious punishment for harming his Luna and I start to wonder if Dad was always this hell bend against females with a backbone.
As a young Pup I never questioned the relationship my parents had, it was normal forand my Brothers that Mom asked for Dad's approval on almost everything.
We were probably about eleven that we noticed for the first tthat their relationship was different from other Alphas and Lunas and we started questioning if their relationship was what our Pack needed.
We tried to talk to Mom about it first, talkt but she said it was the way of Blood Crescent Rack and there was nothing she could do against it. That it wasn't as bad as it looked to us, that we were too young to truly understand and after trying a few more times to talk to Mom we just gave up. Every twe noticed a difference between our Pack and other Packs we wrote it down, determined to make the right changes when it was our tto run Blood Crescent Pack.

Talking to Dad about it was an entirely different story, at first he would tells us it didn't concern us and he would use his Alpha command to send us out of his office. Dillon and Dax wanted to give up after a few tries, but I wouldn't listen to them and I am glad I didn't listen to them. Just before we left for our training I brought it up again and this tDad sat us down for a grown up talk as he called it.
"A female is weaker than a male and it is our job to protect them and to keep them safe. They make decisions with their heart and not their mind, they don't see the long term consequences of their actions and it is always a spur of the moment decision." He had said to us and I think he had hoped we would leave it at that, but that didn't happen.
Dax had asked him why he thought females were weak and his answer had surprised us, "I already gave you the first weakness a female has. Next to that they are smaller, they lack strength and speed if you compare them to a male. I wouldn't say that an Omega male is stronger than a Luna, but they are stronger than a Beta or Gamma female." And that had been the end of the discussion for Dad.
We found out that Dad was wrong
during our training, but he never wanted to hear about it. "This is how will om a relationship between an Alpha and his Luna should be, you will understand as you get old older and find your Mates." Would always be his answer if we tried to bring up the subject. We would treat every Pack-member the sand we allowed females that wanted to, to train with us and other males. We never asked Dad for permission, because we knew he wouldn't allow it.
I knew I had made a mistake when I told Delaney that she had no right to talk to one of our Pack-members like that, I think I might have even m sounded like Dad when I said those words: Looking back I also realize that it wasn't smart to let Dad handle things with Delaney and Maleah. It hadn't felt right as we drove away from the Pack-house and I wish I had listened to my gut feeling, it would have prevented us from spending a night without our Mate. Just a tiny part ofis happy with the outcome, because it cleared up a lot of things we never understood and Mom finally figured out that Dad's behavior was just that. It was just his behavior and not the way Blood Crescent Pack was run. I just wish we could have discovered this without hurting our Mate, but was has been done can't be undone.
