Chapter 451 Largo's p.o.v.

Our Mate is an extraordinary female and I am glad she belongs to the three of us.

I have been watching her throughout dinner and I was surprised about what she wanted from us in the hallway, but looking back I think I know why she wanted to get caught there.

I look down at the male on the floor, most guests have been led out the door by now and the only guests still in the establishment were seated in the back, just like us.

Tamish is holding his head as he screams in agony, blood running from his ears, eyes and nose. He clutches his stomach as he screams even louder and it is clear to see that he is in a state of panic.

If this had been Levi I would have forced a shift to heal him and help him cope with the pain, but nothing indicates that Tamiah's Wolf is trying to gain control over him and that is when I remember I saw Maleah using Viri Leaf in one of the potions.

How she managed to get it in his system I don't understand, but Levi points out that the waitress we blocked earlier had Tamish's order in her hand.

As I already said our Mate is an extraordinary female, she managed to poison his food without anyone noticing and our third target lies wriggling on the floor.

Medics rush into the restaurant with Investigators right behind them and they all skid to a halt the moment they see Tamish on the floor, blood covering him and the floor around him.

One of the Medics turns around to throw up whatever he ate today and one of the Investigators turns a little green around the nose, not much of a stomach for the gruesscene in front of them.

Tamish is screaming on the top of his lungs, while trying to hold his head and stomach. The Medics try to get close to him, but Tamish isn't allowing them anywhere near him and after a few minutes one of them jumps back.

Both Medics are gagging and I see the Investigator's face turn pale, just before I can understand why they are reacting this way. A scent drifts into my nose and from the corner of my eye I see Maleah burying her nose in Kay's chest, Mack looks surprised until he smells the sthing I do.

"What the fuck died in here?" He growls and we hear Maleah say through our mind-link, "He isn't dead yet." I focus on Tamish to realize that it is his blood that smells horrible and I can imagine it smells even worse the closer someone gets to him, no wonder the Medics are stepping further away from him.

We hear one of the Investigators say that he has only smelled this sthing a few times before and that each of those cases was attributed to the Angel of Death.

Other Investigators are talking to the guests and they slowly make their way through the ones that are basically trapped in the restaurant, once they are done questioning the guests at a table they get led out the back to prevent them from getting anywhere near Tamish.

At the rate these Idiots are working we might see Tamish taking his last breath and I truly hope that this is the last of it.

I mean, he is screaming, bleeding and smelling horribly and I could have imagined a better way to spend an evening with my Mate.

Finally it is our turn to answer the questions the Investigators have and I see a strange look on their faces when they realize from which Pack we are.

"What tdid you get here?" Is the first question that gets fired our way and Maleah tells them that Elder Morton was already at his table with his guests.

"Were you seated here the entire time?" Is the second question and Maleah asks why she would want to switch tables during dinner.

The Investigator explains that he would like to know if anyone of us left the table at spoint, she turns a nice shade of red as she looks my way and she stutters a bit when she tells him that the two of us left the table for a few minutes.

"Did you go anywhere near Elder Morton and his guests?" Is the next question and Maleah looks a little panicked in my direction, but I can tell she is enjoying this game.

"Sir, we didn't go anywhere near them. A waitress can verify that we were in the hallway passed the bathrooms, we are newly marked." I answer him and he givesa smile in understanding, but his partner wants to know why I am in control.

"My Human might be the Gamma of Blood Crescent Pack, but he doesn't really have the stomach for this. I doubt anyone in their right mind would chose to watch this willingly." I answer him while Levi is protesting in the back of my head and I see a mischievous smile on Maleah face.

After a few more questions the Investigators tell us that we are free to go, but Maleah decides to make a little show out of it.

"Is that poor male going to be okay?" She asks as the Investigators walk away and one of them turns around to tell her that experience has taught him that no one recovers from this type of seizure.

Kay guides her out of the back while Tamish is still screaming his lungs out, once I know it is safe I ask her how long it will take before he dies.

"Hours. Kuggaron is a slow working poison, he is still able to put up ssort of a fight and it will take about three hours before anyone can get close enough to him to sedate him. By that twe will have taken care of our last target and their deaths will soon follow one another into the open." She says as she gets into the SUV and I hand back control to Levi to allow him to drive us to our hotel.

Maleah's p.o.V.

I am grateful that most males think that a female doesn't have the stomach to do to another what Tamish is going through or that she has the stomach to watch him go through the consequences of having Kuggaron in his system.

I might have to ask Levi to stand guard or something if he doesn't have the stomach for this, but something tellsthat Largo loves teasing his Human.

The Investigators send us out the backdoor of Lunar Lantern and Kay rushes off to get our SUV, while talk to Levi about Largo's remark. As guessed Largo had been teasing Levi, but he does admit that if he can avoid witnessing something like that he will do so and a small part ofunderstands him. Watching someone die the way Tamish did or the way Langford did is sometimes difficult, but remembering why I take them out in a certain way is enough to keepgoing.

We arrive at Obsidian DHotel almost an hour later, Harvey was unable to find out why Nishay was staying here while Tamish was staying at a hotel in Palperroth. This tI did book a suite, I have three Mates to take withand a suite has much more room for us.

I walk onto the balcony to enjoy the view and to take a peek at the room Nishay is staying in.

Mack is standing behindwith his arms around my waist, Kay is

leaning against the railing as I tell them where Nishay is staying and Levi askshow I plan on getting to her room undetected. I teibthem that I will enter her room the sway I always do and that will wait until she leaves for her appointment she has in an hour. "She will return by herself, she is expecting Tamish to join her once his dealings with Elder Morton are done and I doubt Elder Morton will contact her." I say.

Elder Morton is known to have a problem with a female in charge, he only listens to the Queen because she can take his title as Elder away from him and if there is one thing in life he truly values at it's worth it is his title as an Elder. There are a few other Elders that feel the sway as Elder Morton, but they are not as bad in most of their ideas as Elder Morton. We watch as the lights in her room turn off and I head inside to grab everything I need before I join my Mates on the balcony again, looking at the rooms on the other side of the hotel I see that there are no lights on.
