Chapter 158 Maddox Finished We are home, the place I grew up in and I am relieved to be back. As the door of the plane opens, James jumps up and nearly knocks over the flight attendant. I guess my Sister is standing outside and he is in a hurry to get back to his Mate and unborn pup.

Dagmar is walking behind me, when we descent from the plane and I can feel that she is getting anxious. I know Elsa will be happy for us, but she will also warn the to take good care of Dagmar or she will putsix feet under.

James turns her, so her back is towards us and asksthrough the mind-link "When do you want to tell her? I look at him and tell him which news we start with would be the better question.

And I can see by the look on his face that for a moment it had slipped his mind. All of a sudden Elsa's head snaps up and I hear her ask "James, what is wrong?" And we all know this is going to be hard on her. Dagmar walks pastand calls out “Aunt Elsa.” Elsa pulls her in to a hug and her eyes are on me, immediately. She looks at me, confusion written all over her face and then a smile spreads across her face.

Dagmar, if my Brother ever treats you wrong, you telland I will bury him. Her eyes don't leave mine as she says those words to Dagmar. It is Rico that starts hughing and tells her that if I ever would be that stupid, there would be nothing left for her to deal with, after Dagmar would be finished with me.

We all chuckle, because he is probably right. Elsa looks pastand I realize that Julian is standing behind 1. mc.

Elsa Hearing everyone laugh at Rico's comment, I feel happy and relieved to have them all hagain. As I look at Maddox, I see Julian standing behind him and he is not laughing.

He looks lost and broken, it is as if he is moving on auto-pilot. Was that what I had felt coming from James a few moments ago? I walk towards Julian as I see him fidgeting with something in his hand.

It takesa second to recognize it and I break down, because my girl is not coming home. Maddox was close enough to catch me, before I could hit the floor. Tellwhat happened?" I ask.

James liftsout of Maddox's arms and carriesto one of the waiting cars. He gets in the back seat withand starts tellinghow he found the bracelet and that Julian had explained that it belonged to Izzy.

As we drive hhe tellseverything he knows and I let all of it run through my mind. Over and over I hear his words in my head and I know I cannot make heads or tails out of it right now.

So I push it aside and concentrate on the people in the car with me.

Muddox I know the look on my Sister's face, she is processing everything James has told her. Suddenly she shifts her attention toand smiles. “Why didn't you tellabout Dagmar?" She asks and I gulp.

I look at James and all he does is shake his head, I guess I am on my own with this. "Yeah, well..." I don't get to say anything else before Elsa cutsoff. “Maddox, you better start explaining yourself. We don't have any new mated couples in the Pack." She says.

I look at Dagmar, but she just stares back atand I know that she won't helpout either. "Okay, Elsa. You already know that Dagmar is my second chance.” She nods her head and just givesa stern look. "Well, we have taken in a few new members and out of them we have two new mated couples. Lance, who comes of a Beta-line, is mated to Jenny, who is from a line of Warriors.

And then there is John, a Warrior, whom is mated to Alice, she is an Omega." She looks atand by the look on her face I can tell I am not of the hook yer.

Then there is Rico, Marcus, Jenna and Julian." I say those words real fast and for a second it is completely quiet in the car. Elsa looks atand her eyes widen. “Julian found his mate?" She asks, looking at James and he just nods his head.

James tells her who they are mated to and when she hears that Marcus and Lily adopted Jonas, a huge smile spreads across her face.

Elsa James explains who is mated to who and of course he saves the best part for last, because he concludes with Marcus and his Mate Lily. When he tellsthey adopted a baby boy they rescued, I can't help but smile.

I grab my phone and call a Pack-member, I tell her to prepare my cottage for residents and to put a crib in the room next to the master bedroom. After ending the call, I look up at James and he kisses my forehead.

"That is so nice of you to do for them." He says through our mind-link. An hour later we pull up to the Pack- house and I jump out of the car first, to make my way over to Marcus.

I watch him, as he helps his Mate out of the car and that is when I see the baby she is holding. "Marcus" He turns toand bows in respect. He introduces Lily and Jonas to me.

I tell Lily that I am Elsa, Alpha Maddox's Sister and James Mate. "Marcus, where are you planning on staying with Lily and Jonas?" I ask him and his face pales, apparently he had not thought about that.

I shake my head while I suppress a giggle. “Don't worry, Marcus. Do you remember where I lived before I met James?" He nods his head at my question.

"Good, then show your mate the way to your new home. There is a crib for Jonas in the room next to the master bedroom." I see tears in Lily's eyes as my words sink in and I walk over to hug her.

Through the link I tell her that it is my gift to them and that I won't take No for an answer. Marcus is about to object, but James tells him that he better watch his words and that is when Marcus realizes that there will be hell to pay if he tries to turn my offer down.

Thank you, Gamma Elsa. After that James sends them on their way and I turn to find Julian and his Mate.

When he seescoming, a small smile appears on his face and he taps a young man on his shoulder.

Glenn bows and then I hear him through the mind-link "Gamma Elsa, it is nice to meet you."Dook a little baffled and then he explains that he cannot speak, duc to an attack when he was a toddler. I see the scarring on his neck and I shudder at the thought of what he went through. "It is nice to meet you, Glenn. This man has been waiting for his Mate, for as long as I have known him.

But I have to warn you, he can be an ass sometimes." And Glenn smiles at my words, Julian looks atand even he has to smile. From the corner of my eyes see Jordan pushing through the Warriors that are standing around us.

e His eyes lock with Julian's eyes and a howl escapes his lips as Julian shakes his head at kim The next? momenthelooses consciousness and Julian rushes over to him, his Mate and a young woman follow him. I feel sad for Jordan, he will never know if she was his Mate or not.

We all go inside and turn in for the night, even though am not sure if I will be able to sleep.
