One of them huffed.
After listening to his friends’ ideas, Igor took the last drag of his cigarette and said, “Alright, let's move tonight. If
this works, I'll take you all out to celebrate, my treat.
“You're the best, Igor!” The group cheered.
Igor had long resented Ariana’s condescending attitude. He couldn't miss the chance to knock her off a peg.
That afternoon, Ariana arranged for Victor and Evelyn to meet at a romantic restaurant.
It was 5:00 pm, almost dinnertime. She thought it was only natural to have something to eat while they were
there.
She had reserved a candlelit dinner for two, setting the mood for sparks to fly between Victor and Evelyn.
It didn’t take long for them to arrive at different times.
