Chapter 1099
“Ain’t this plan of yours still up in the air? Don’t get too cocky!”
Thalassa’s anger flared in an instant, igniting like a bonfire that had been waiting for a spark. Every
slight, every insult she had swallowed over the past weeks blazed into a fury. Just seeing Susan made
her blood boil.
With a sudden move, Thalassa grabbed a fistful of Susan’s hair and yanked her down, bending
Susan’s body further.
“Ow!” Susan screamed, her back feeling like it was about to snap.
Thalassa smacked the other side of Susan’s cheek, sending her into a daze.
Thalassa hissed through clenched teeth, “I need to teach you a lesson, or you’ll really start thinking

Another slap, and Susan’s vision started to blur.
“That’s for threatening me!”
A third hit landed, and Susan’s eyes widened in shock, her whole body throbbing in pain.
“And that’s for calling me names!”
Thalassa raised her hand again.
Susan, tears streaming down her face, begged for mercy. “Stop, please stop!”
Thalassa paused, her face a mask of cold fury. “Who’s the trash now?”
Susan, tearful and defeated, had no choice but to admit, “I am… I’m the trash…”
Her voice broke into sobs.
Thalassa, looking down at Susan’s pathetic act, felt her hatred intensify. Her raised hand trembled with
tension but she couldn’t hold back and delivered another sharp slap. The crying woman’s face went
blank as she stared at the ceiling in shock.
Thalassa, breathing heavily, let go of Susan’s hair and kicked her away.
Susan fell to the floor in a heap.
“If you see me again, you better walk the other way, or it’s going to be a smack down every single
time!” Thalassa threatened.
Susan, who had always been pampered, trembled with rage. Pointing at Thalassa, she hissed, “You’re
going to regret this. I’ll spread your mom’s scandal all over the internet for everyone to see just how
trashy she is!”

Her words stepped on Thalassa’s rawest nerve. Thalassa lunged at her, grabbing Susan’s hair with
one hand and squeezing her face with the other, pulling outward.
“Say one more word, and I’ll tear that mouth of yours apart!” Thalassa spat out, her rage barely
contained.
Susan wasn’t just insulting her mother; she was threatening her!
“Ah! Let go, you’re going to split my mouth open…” Susan’s cheeks were painfully gripped by
Thalassa’s fierce hands, stretching her mouth so wide it felt like it would tear.
“That mouth of yours never has anything good to come out of it; maybe it would be better torn apart!”
Thalassa’s grip tightened, her hand shaking with fury.
Her rage had reached its peak.
