Ethan had mentioned over the phone that he wanted to discuss something in person. Since it was Ethan, Hertha felt there was no cause for concern.
She planned to bring the kids to the diner, asking the staff to keep an eye on Julian and Helena while she and Ethan talked. After the discussion, she'd leave immediately.

Thalassa, sensing the tension, looked past Dr. Funke to see Rosalind wheeling Lysander towards them. Lysander, dressed in a sleek, handmade black suit, exuded an air of elegance and authority, even seated in a wheelchair. His striking features were tight with displeasure, his presence undeniably commanding. Rosalind, pushing the wheelchair, appeared somewhat embarrassed.
As Thalassa was about to respond to Dr. Funke, the sight of Lysander stopped her cold, words failing her.
