Sylvia tugged on the corner of Gabriel's jacket. "No one forced me. Don't be mad. Sit down, let's have a drink."

Gabriel's eyes shifted to Bruce, who immediately straightened up. "Ms. Jarvis, you and Gabriel should chat. We're all drunk, so

we're going to head out now."

He shot a meaningful look at Bert and the others. The group got the message and, before Gabriel could unleash his temper, they
