Robin sat up, e in!"
Diana pushed the door open, a look of surprise on her face. "Weren't you supposed to be on a date with Sophia? Howe you're
back?"
Robin offered a faint smile, "Something work-related cup last minute. You're still here?"
"No rush," Diana replied with a gentle smile, pouring a cup of tea for Robin. "It's been hectic at the office lately. President Hester,
you really should spend squality twith Sophia. Otherwise, she might start havingplaints!"
Robin lowered his gaze, a shadow of sadness crossing his face, "l used to think she really loved me. Only now do | realize that's not

Diana's gaze flickered, sitting next to him, her voice even softer, "What happened? Did you guys have a fight?"
It was late at night, and Robin was exhausted, feeling an urge to confide, and the girl in front of him felt like the right person to talk
to.
"She's good friends with the president's wife of the Lamont Group. | wanted her to help introduce our products to the Lamont
Group, but she refused, making all sorts of excuses!" Robin shook his head in self-mockery, "Makesfeel like I'm doing
something shady!"
Diana, surprised, asked, "Why? It's such a great opportunity. Why wouldn't Sophia want to help?"
Robin scoffed, "Probably because she’s afraid it might affect her relationship with Estelle."
A glint of intrigue flashed in Diana's eyes as she sighed softly, "Why can’t Sophia be more understanding? If we could collaborate
with the Lamont Group, ourpany could really take off. You wouldn't have to work so hard. It hurtsto see you like this every
day."
Robin, rubbing his temples in frustration, said sarcastically, "So, her concern foris just lip service. She doesn’t understand what

Diana leaned in closer, her voiceforting, "President Hester, no matter what others do, I'll always stand by you. Though my
abilities are limited, I'll give my all for thepany."
Robin turned to look at her, her gentle face stirring something in him, and he nodded slowly, "I know. You left a high-paying job to
help me. I've always remembered that kindness."
Diana, blushing, replied softly, "I never expected anything in return. I'm doing all this willingly!"
Their eyes met, and the room fell silent, an awkward yet palpable tension hanging in the air.
"Uh," Robin turned to take a big gulp of his drink, "It's getting late. Letdrive you home."
