Unsurprisingly, she didn’t believe a word out of his mouth, and since he didn’t tell her HOW he supposedly KNOWS they're meant to be together, Cam just wrote it off as another terrible line from the overly flirtatious Incubus. I'm giggling to myself when | put my phone aside.It’s funny how differently everyone reacts. to hearing about their threads. In Darrien’s case, elation and hope. Still, I'm definitely doing better than | was when | first found out. Harry reacted fairly well tonight, actually he reacted amazingly. “What's wrong?” | ask, confused.

“One second.” Bellamy jumps up from the bed and dashes into the ensuite. He returns with at damp cloth and without pausing, wipes my right cheek thoroughly. He then throws the cloth over his shoulder back into the bathroom where it lands with a light thud.

“What are you doing?” | ask, very confused. Bellamy just leans in and presses a soft k*ss to my freshly cleaned cheek.

“Much better. I might be trying to like the Incubus more, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to tolerate his k*sses on you.” Bellamy half growls the words and I roll my eyes. Still, | don’t complain when Bellamy presses another k*ss to my other cheek. | end up relaxing back into the pillows as he leans towards me. I'm waiting for a proper k*ss, except it never comes. Bellamy suddenly backs off. He moves all the way away fromand makes a show of checking his phone even though it’s only been like two minutes since he last checked it. What is going on? This isn’t the first tin the last couple days that he’s done this. It’s like he’s suddenly avoiding me, but somehow he’s still just as clingy as ever. He just isn’t actually trying to take things any further than maybe a light k*ss. | wouldn't be concerned except he was definitely taking things further before, and while | might have asked him to slow down a few times, | didn’t stop him completely and | definitely didn’t mind. What has suddenly. changed? He's acting differently and | don’t know what to do about it. Ugh, screw it. This is probably going to be completely embarrassing, but Bellamy seems to like dealing with problems straight on, not to mention neither of us is intuitive enough to take a hint unless are basically bulldozed with it.
