Chapter 2136
In the elevator, Joe, who was standing next to Grace, stole a glance at Stella.
Stella stood upright as she stared at the changing floor numbers on the display screen.
She looked even fairer than when she appeared on TV, as if she was glowing with whiteness. Her face without
makeup looked more natural with a hint of vulnerability, making her even more striking.
Joe secretly took out his phone, snapped a side profile of Stella, and sent it to someone with the nickname
"Stella's Ex-Husband." The text said: [Hey, | got a new girlfriend.]
In the General Manager's office at Vinci Rivera, Keegan rested his chin on his hand as he scanned through the
data on the computer screen. However, his mind was elsewhere.
He wondered if things went smoothly on Stella's side. From what he knew about her, she could probably handle
the situation well. With that young man's help on her side and the fact that she was always able to put up a
front, he figured that she would be fine.

Humans are truly strange creatures. When they were married, and Stella was a devoted stay-at-hwife,
Keegan thought it would be good for her to have a job so that she could interact more with the outside world,
regardless of her income.
However, he always said the opposite of what he meant, and things between them always ended badly.
Now that Stella had started working, Keegan started to worry about her, feeling like a father worried about
sending his daughter to school and fearing that she would be bullied.
As he was deep in his thoughts, his phone vibrated with a message from someone with the contact name
"Stella's Current Boyfriend."
He tapped it open, and his expression immediately darkened.
Joe texted him again: [When she talked tojust now, | already decided what to nour child. She's gorgeous
in person! Old man, how did you know she's working at Caline?]
The text continued: [She didn't even show up at the premiere of "Motives for Murder," and the production crew
didn't reveal where she went at that time. | thought she retired and got married, but it turns out she's running
her billion-dollar family business now!"]
Keegan replied: [What did you just call me?]
Joe texted again: [Bro! She and | are such a perfect match!]
Keegan replied nonchalantly: [Do you know what's the scariest thing in the world?] [A dying phone?]
Keegan was speechless.
[Bro, can you just be more straightforward? What are you trying to tell me?]
Keegan continued: [Someone who's not aware of how they look.]
Joe was taken aback. Then, he texted back: [Are you suggesting that she and you would be a better match then?
Bro, do you realize how old you are?
I [Hmph.]
Joe texted: [Hmph. Hmph. By the way, how did you know my mom was trying out perfumes there? And how did
you know | could help her just by not choosing 'Cloud Nine'?]

Keegan replied: [Because I'm her husband.]
Joe then sent a mof an elderly person on the subway looking at a phone: [Bro, are you a stalker or
something?]
Keegan replied: [I'm her number one fan... A legally obligated one.]
Joe inquired: [What's that?]
Keegan responded: [A fan who's also her family. She's my wife.]
Joe replied: [Bro, you're not bad looking for your age, but your fantasy for Stella is too wild. If you were more
normal, I'd introduce my cousin to you. She's just a little less pretty than Stella.
[I happen to not like the guy she's dating now. So if you give up on Stella, I'll introduce you to her. By the way,
her family is pretty wealthy, too.]
Without saying anything else, Keegan took a screenshot of Stella's contact on his phone, blurred out the number,
and sent it to Joe.
