Once | confirmed Alpha Henry was unconscious, | tossed the handkerchief aside and pressed the
emergency alarm. Within moments, seven or eight werewolves rushed in-each of them one of our
most reliable men.
“Ms. Mary, what happened to the Alpha?”
Beta Cam was the first to sense something was wrong. His tone was tight with concern.
I immediately put on a worried expression. “Looks like the Kajit virus has mutated again. To speed
up the research, I've decided to leave today. Cam, contact FlPack’s alpha. We’ll need their
support.”
“Understood, Ms. Mary.” Cam hesitated for a second, then turned and went to make the call.
“But did Alpha actually agree to this?” Perry asked, scratching his head, clearly skeptical.
1 gave a helpless sigh. “He didn’t at first. | spent the whole night trying to convince him.”
“But Alpha wouldn't let you risk yourself like this,” Perry said hesitantly. “Everyone knows the Kajit virus is most
dangerous to omegas. And Ulrich’s latest strain... it seems even more lethal.”
He knew Alpha Henry well. | couldn't help but glance at him with sappreciation. “He's extremely worried

kid, but I've improved it. While I'm gone, make sure he soaks in it for an hour every day. As for the rest of the
treatment-you know what to do. Now could you please guard the door for me?”
Xavier understood that | had my secrets. He nodded. “Alright. Just be careful.”
And with that, he left.
| swept my fingers across the kit, unfolding it in a single motion.
To anyone watching, it might've looked like a magic trick.
The needles floated an inch from my fingers, but still pierced Alpha Henry’s skin with absolute
precision-like something supernatural.
