Chapter 90
Coming out of the office, Nola felt something was wrong.
After getting off work yesterday, Deborah said she would take Nola home, and she asked about Nola’s personal
affairs this morning. Deborahy seemed to be particularly interested in her, Nola didn’t think Deborah was a
person who was particularly enthusiastic about her colleagues. Besides, she was still Nola’s leader.
Wasn't it strange to ask again and again about her personal situation?
Deborah said she drove the car back to the company door yesterday to send Nola back. Could it be that Deborah
accidentally saw her in Elvis‘ car?
But if Deborah saw her, she would probably directly ask today if the person in the car was Nola instead of
probing repeatedly.
Maybe Deborah had found something, but she was not sure. So she wanted to get an answer from Nola.
Nola thought of the gossip she had overheard yesterday. They said Deborah had always liked Elvis. Now it
seemed true.
At the end of the morning, everyone went to have lunch. Nola was just about to get up to find Elvis for lunch
when no one was around. Sure enough, Deborah had cout of the office and stopped her.
“Nola, aren't you going for lunch?”
“Right away!”
“Good. Let's go together!” Deborah asked her to have lunch so naturally. As an intern assistant on probation,
Nola really shouldn't refuse her kindness, but she felt Deborah was up to something.
“But, Miss Garcia... | have an appointment.”
“Appointment? Are you going out? With your boyfriend? I'm not used to the food in the staff canteen either. Let's
go downstairs together. I'm curious about your caring boyfriend.”
“He’s not my boyfriend.”
“He chases you with heart, drives you back and forth to work, and even has lunch with you. He's pretty nice, and
I'll help you make sure he suits you!” she was so enthusiastic that Nola didn’t even know what to say.

Elvis was still upstairs waiting for Nola to eat, and Alisa had brought the food over, but Deborah didn’t let her go.
She couldn't say she would go to the president's office for lunch.
When Nola was upset and didn’t know how to get out of the predicament, Fiona suddenly stood up in the corner
of the office.
“Nola, I... I'm done. Let's go!”
Nola was taken aback for a moment but immediately cto her senses and agreed.
“Miss Garcia, Fiona and | are relatively poor and can’t afford food outside. We agreed to eat in the staff canteen.”
Although Nola didn’t know why Fiona would rescue her at this time, she could only go with Fiona’s words.
“Are you going to have lunch?”
Nola and Fiona nodded in unison. Deborah was dubious and smiled, “If you are going to the canteen, then fine! |
will eat by myself.”

Chapter 90
Deborah still couldn’t believe it. She didn’t believe they would go for lunch until the saw Nola and Fiona enter the
deve and press the floor to the canteen.
Fiona had been working in the company for over a year but had never been familiar with her colleagues. She had
ordinary abilities and nothing outstanding and was invisible in the company. Diligence was the only good thing
about her
If Deborah had to describe her as an animal, she would probably say Fiona was a tortoise,
Judging from Fiona’s appearance, Deborah didn’t think she dared to lie.
After Nola and Fiona entered the elevator, Nola was relieved. “Thank you”
“I saw.”
Nola was taken aback for a moment and looked at Fiona in astonishment, wondering what she meant by saying
that
“Miss Garcia should have seen it too, but she’s not sure.” Fiona looked at her calmly. “Those gossips are true.
Think of my help as my gratitude for your food yesterday.” The elevator door opened, and Fiona left alone
without waiting for Nola
She looked so indifferent, but Nola couldn't get angry.
Did Fiona see Nola getting into Elvis‘ car?
Fiona turned around suddenly, hesitating for a long time, and finally said, “I may not understand your world. In
fact, gorgeous clothes are not that important. Nothing stays hidden. You are so beautiful and can find someone
who is sincere to you and love you.”
Nola felt Fiona’s kindness towards her, but it took her a long tto understand what Fiona had said. She
seemed to misunderstand Nola’s relationship with Elvis.
Did Fiona think that Nola was kept by Elvis, so she didn’t dare to let others know?
Nola was suddenly speechless. There was no one in the world who could stand beside Elvis more openly than
her.
She just didn’t want others to look at her from a different perspective. Although Nola had hidden everything, she
couldn't avoid this problem.
Nola was a little upset but didn’t tell Elvis.
After all, it was her request to keep their relationship a secret for the tbeing. She didn’t expect such a
problem.
Even if Nola explained to others that she was Elvis‘ wife, those people would not believe it and probably think
Nola had lost her mind.
Back home, Nola suddenly thought of a question and seriously asked Elvis, “Does Miss Garcia like you?”
Elvis was taken aback for a moment and frowned. He didn’t know where Nola heard that and suddenly asked
him.
Elvis deliberately didn’t speak and just looked at her.

Nola continued to ask, “Is she... your junior?”
Didn't underclasswomen often have a crush on upperclassmen? Besides, Elvis was excellent. Of course, he must
be popular back then, and it was the snow.
“Many people like me.”
“But she is your junior. Are you two close?” Seeing that he didn’t care and seemed to take it for granted, Nola
couldn't help but continue to ask.

Elvis looked at her and said slowly, “Are you... jealous?” He tapped the dining table with his slender fingers,
smiling faintly, feeling more and more that Nola looked good when she was nervous.
Nola was jealous.
“Jealous? Why? You're my guy. What's there to be jealous of?”
“Is that so?”
“Of course!” she was not jealous but just wanted to understand the basic situation. Judging from the way they
talked that day, Nola felt they were very familiar. She didn’t say anything wrong.
“You haven't answered my question yet.” Elvis almost changed the subject again.
“She is good at her job and has been working in Grayson Group since she cback. Our relationship is fine! We
have the smentor. You could say that.”
“You actually have a junior who likes you.”
It was okay that he had an ex-girlfriend and first love. Now there was a junior.
Nola didn’t know what was wrong but got upset when Elvis answered so easily and didn’t deny it.
Elvis twitched the corner of his mouth. It was beyond his control. They had the smentor. Wasn't that very
normal?
“So, is she still into you now?” Nola gulped down the steak, not knowing why she was so angry.
“So, are you jealous?”
