The very person who should have been the first to help the Hart family was now showing such indifference. It
was clear that Olivia's involvement in the car accident with Stephanie had been deliberate and serious.
Tyler closed his eyes. “Go back to your room,” he said, his voice now filled with a cold, harsh edge. It was evident
that Tyler had no desire to see Olivia at all.
Olivia's heart trembled. “Tyler.”
“Go,” Tyler said.
What he said felt like a knife in her chest. Olivia was truly finished. Without Catlin, she had no one in this family
to rely on.
In the end, facing Tyler's cold hostility, Olivia dared not say anything more and simply returned to her room.
Once Olivia was gone and Tyler was alone, he couldn't help but tremble as he held the phone.
That car accident had truly been orchestrated by Olivia.

He remembered how close it had cto costing Stephanie her life. Thinking back to the days when Stephanie
had been in the hospital, he had loved her dearly, visiting her every day.
He wondered why things had changed, when he had started to feel this way about Stephanie, and if it was
because she had made things difficult for Olivia and had been constantly confronting Olivia about the accident.
In the end, during their argument, he had sided with Olivia, the girl he had grown up with.

Far away in Fiorenza, Ella had called Stephanie, and then she tried to call Cecil back from the landline
downstairs.
As expected, Stephanie was no help, and Cecil was also unreachable in the middle of the night.
Lorenzo's temperature had already reached 103°F; if the fever continued like this, there would definitely be
problems. Ella was at her wit’s end.
Back in the room, she called out to Lorenzo, “Wake up.”
But he just groggily opened his eyes to look at her for a moment, but then he fell back asleep.
Ella knew that if the fever didn’t subside soon, it would cause serious issues.
She was about to go mad. If only she had gone with Stefi to the Giovanni family when Stefi had offered to take
her there. ‘The Giovannis have raised Stefi; how could they be terrifying?"
Besides, the Giovanni family was so large; she and Lottie should rarely cross paths. Now Ella didn’t know what to
do.
Ella wanted to call an ambulance to take Lorenzo to the hospital, but she realized that since she didn’t
understand the local language of Fiorenza well enough, she couldn't communicate over the phone.
Ella fell silent. ‘Haven't | learned the language well enough? Why can’t | use it when | need to?’
After several attempts, Ella didn’t dare to waste any more tand quickly prepared warm water to physically
cool Lorenzo down. She started with his face, then moved to his neck.
Since the area she was wiping was small, the fever didn’t subside quickly enough or effectively. The temperature
would drop for a short while, only to rise again soon after.

With no other choice, Ella had to increase the area she was wiping. She lifted the blanket and undid the man’s
robe, turning her face away to avoid looking at Lorenzo's body. She haphazardly wiped his body with the warm
towel.
“Ugh... Lorenzo groaned. Ella instinctively turned back and realized she had touched Lorenzo's injury. With just
one glance, she quickly averted her gaze again and continued wiping, moving from his upper body to his lower
body.
When she got to his lower body, Ella turned her face even further away, almost to the point where she couldn't
see anything at all. Suddenly, her wrist was grasped by Lorenzo. Ella fell silent.
“What are you doing?” Lorenzo’s hoarse voice echoed in the quiet air.
Ella instinctively turned back and met his eyes, which were slightly bloodshot.
Even now, Lorenzo's gaze still carried an intense sense of dominance. Ella instinctively swallowed hard and
stammered, “P- physical cooling.”
Her eyes slowly moved downward, and when she saw the position where the warm towel in her hand was
currently placed, Ella froze. She was completely stunned on the spot.
