In her heart, there was an inexplicable sourness that pervaded everywhere, soaking every nerve.
Walking into the elevator alone, she pressed the button for the 12th floor.
Dazedly looking at the numbers going up on the display, she just felt her mind dizzy and didn't know what to think.
Suddenly, she tossed her head hard. Now that she had made all the preparations, she could only go forward.
Everything would cto an end tomorrow.
Right now, there was no use thinking about it.
When she cto her office, surrounded by the familiar environment and the pleasant atmosphere...
A happy smile spread across Joyce's lips.

She greeted everyone warmly.
Then she returned to her seat and simply packed her things.
She had almost nothing to take with her. All the documents were the property of the company, so she left them all at the R&S
Group. Except for those, she didn’t have many personal belongings.
Juanita had just returned from an errand.
When she saw Joyce, she happily went up and hugged her arms, "Joyce, you're out of the hospital. You didn't tellin advance."
"lI cback in Aaron's car and thought I'd see you immediately when | get here, so | didn't send you a message in advance."
Joyce smiled tenderly. Recently Juanita helped her keep an eye on Charlotte day by day, and they shared everything with text
messages in time. Luckily Charlotte didn’t really do anything these days.
"Thanks a lot, it's been tough lately." Joyce patted Juanita's shoulder.
It was indeed not easy for her to stay near the military hospital day in and day out.
"What are you talking about? We are friends!" Juanita beamed with dissatisfaction, "Joyce, what are you packing for?"
"Oh, these things are too old. I'll take them hfirst and get snew ones." Joyce made an excuse. For the tbeing, she
didn't know how to explain everything to Juanita. Actually she wouldn't be coming back to work at R&S Group.
But no matter where she went, she and Juanita would always be good friends.
"Oh. I'll go get you a bag to put it in." Juanita didn't doubt it, and went up to help diligently.
"No, I'll just do it myself." Joyce suddenly pulled Juanita's arm, "Wait, tell everyone we are having a meal together at noon. It's at
the cafeteria across the street. My treat!"
Before she left, she wanted to treat everyone to a meal.
"Yes, celebrate your survival." Juanita smiled innocently.

Her smile was infectious. Joyce's originally gloomy mood was instantly lit up.
"Why not dinner, though? Everyone's a bit pressed for tat noon." Juanita asked again.
"I had something to do this afternoon and I'm not coming back to the R&S Group. It's not very convenient in the evening." Joyce
explained.
"Okay, I'll go inform everyone. By the way, how can | let you treat? You are the victim! We should all treat you to a meal instead.
We are celebrating for you after all!" Juanita suddenly thought of something, and quickly waved her hand.
"No, | just want to treat everyone to a meal. How can | let you guys pay for it?"
Joyce refused, saying firmly, "My treat, OK?"
"Fine, fine, whatever pleases you. You are safe, so that everyone can feel at ease." Juanita also did not insist, "I will go to inform
them then. Twelve o'clock, the restaurant across the street!"
"Hmm."
Joyce gave a relaxed and happy smile.
