"How am | supposed to know?"
| was still young at the time, and it had been so many years, so how could | possibly remember the things in the

Theo placed Munchkin on my thighs and said while putting on his seatbelt, "Even if you don't know, you should
feel skeptical about it. Your mother was a county woman with no one to depend on, while Tyler's family was from

Theo chuckled and started the car engine.
Taking into consideration that Xander and Jerwould be sad if | just took the child away like that and the child

However, Theo turned a deaf ear to my words. He walked up the staircase to the door of the bedroom

| rolled my eyes and reached out to open the door.
After getting in, he placeddown on the bed.
We were all adults and | knew what he wanted to do. However, | was really drowsy at the moment and did not
want to do it. "Theo, I... I'm tired.”
Theo sneered. "If you want to rejectnext time, just be straightforward about it instead of giving excuses."
| did not know what to say anymore and chose to remain silent.

After a pause, he continued, "You're my wife and I'm your husband. | hope I'll be the first person you'll think of

His words were very heartwarming. There were tears i n my eyes. "Thank you for always being so tolerant of me

| began to play dumb. "What practical actions?" "Stop playing dumb with me." Theo narrowed his eyes

Theo's gaze darkened as he clutched my waist. "Tell m e if you want it or not.”
