Did he not have to go to work?
Was his company bankrupt?
Even so, this man was perfectly good-looking. All those years ago, he was the man of every girl’s dreams in Salt
City. I squinted to admire his ridiculous good looks. Even though his hair was a little disheveled, he still looked
enticing. His eyes were a little red-rimmed. He exuded a casual yet elegant aura that made him breathtakingly
sexy.
What a dashing man. It was a shhe had a nasty mouth.
| pouted a little and lost the interest to continue admiring him. | removed the blanket aroundand was about
to get out of bed.

"Why are you up so early?” Theo's lazy voice drawled i n my ears, and it was incredibly alluring.
| looked at my phone that was on the dresser and showed it to him. "It's almost nine in the morning, how is this
early?”
Theo snuggled into the crook of my neck. "It's early."
“Don't you have to go back to the office?" | could not help but ask him.
Theo huggedtighter. "I'll be swamped with work i n the next few days, so | took toff to be with you."
"But I'm busy these few days." | pushed his face away and said with disdain, "Stop hugging me. | want to get
up."
Theo lifted his head and looked atunhappily. "I thought you're done with the backlog from work?"
| was speechless. "There's still work to be done! It's not like | have nothing to do anymore once | finish that pile
of work."
Theo glared at me, and after a long while, he reluctantly released me.
After washing up and having breakfast, Theo sentt o my workplace.
As soon as | got down from the car, | realized that Theo was trailing behind me. | stopped, turned around, and
looked at him with a confused face. "Why are you following me?"
Theo shrugged and said as matter-of-factly, "I'm going to work with you."
My face was stoic. "I don’t need you to cwitht o work."
"You do."
"No, | don’t."
Suddenly, Theo huggedaround the waist. "If you don't letgo with you, | won't let go."
"Theo Grant!" He was about to driveup the wall.
| felt the gazes of many people around us and gritted m y teeth. "Letgo and we can talk about this. If you
don't, this conversation is over."
Theo immediately released me.
"Listen to me." | took a deep breath. "Did you know that you caught the attention of everyone when you sent me
to work the other day? If you followto work today, the employees downstairs will be speculating the entire
day!"

Let's just satisfy their curiosity. When they're used tobeing around, they'll no longer feel like it's a rare
sight."
He made so much sense | had nothing to refute him with.
| accepted my fate and brought him into my office building with me. This was the twhen everyone was busy
with their own work, so when Theo and | made a beeline to the elevator, we did not attract much attention till we
reached the top floor.
| sat in my chair and was prepared to start working once we were in my office.
Theo sat on the sofa and stared at me. "You look beautiful today."
"Thanks." | was unfazed.
Theo narrowed his eyes as he continued, "Don't put on lipstick anymore from today onward. It causesto
struggle like | am right now. | just want to lean over and kiss you."
