After going through a near-death experience, everyone was terribly worn out. Shannon and | were just about to

lay down and sleep when Jordan cover to take Shannon away.

Usually, | would have teased them, but | was currently not in the mood to do that.

He furrowed his brows and said with a dark expression, “You're right. She has a high fever.”

Shannon looked at him and said anxiously, "Why don't you take her to the clinic in the village to get her checked,

Mr. Grant? I'm worried that her fever will get serious on our way back."
