Chapter 221 Emilee Was Kidnapped

“Emilee was kidnapped. She just called me and said she was being held captive here. I suspect she was on the one

of these boats. Let’s start looking now.”

“Okay, you search over there, and I search over here.”

The entire pier had dozens of small boats and a few large ones, so it would certainly take some time to search

through them

all.

Amelie stood at a high place, looking at the many boats in front of her. Her heart was a little flustered, but she

quickly calmed

down.

She carefully noticed that one of boats was swaying back and forth.

It seemed like there was some kind of danger.

She hurriedly walked over and was surprised to find that the boat seemed to be sinking little by little.

She had a hunch that Emilee was likely inside, so she quickly boarded the boat and searched every room.

Then she eventually reached a room that was tightly closed. She yelled Jeff’s name and attempted to open the

door.

No matter how hard she tried, the door wouldn’t budge. She looked up and saw a lock at the top.

It wasn’t possible to open the door without the key.

What was to be done? Seeing the ship sinking little by little, Amelie thought the whole ship will sink completely in

about twenty minutes.

By then, they will all die.

She found the location of the window, only to see it tightly sealed with wood.

She looked through the crack and discovered that Emilee had already fainted, so she quickly shouted loudly.

“Emilee, wake up!”

After calling out several times, Emilee finally woke up.

“Emilee, are you alright?”

Due to prolonged exhaustion and not eating for a long time, she was extremely weak, and her body had been

pushed beyond

its limits.

“You came! Hurry, get me out! Can the door be opened from outside?”

Emilee dragged her exhausted body to the window.

Finally, they were able to exit the boat and return to shore.

Jeff was panting heavily while Amelie’s heart was still pounding.

Emilee had already fainted and lost her senses.

“She’s too weak now. We must send her to the hospital right away.”

Jeff checked her body rapidly and spoke loudly.

Amelie quickly dialed the emergency number.

After the emergency room lights went out, Amelie quickly rushed to the door.

“Doctor, how is her condition? Is there any serious problem?”

“Don’t worry, there’s nothing serious,” The doctor replied with a sigh of relief. “She simply needs to rest for a few

days.”

Amelie was relieved to hear this.

While waiting outside the door, she was anxious.

Jeff comforted her and then glanced at the time.

“I can’t stay here any longer. I have some things to deal with. I’ll leave first. Contact me immediately if anything

happens.”

Amelie nodded.

She knew that Jeff had been investigating the matter in secret. That was why he appeared and disappeared

mysteriously.

In the hospital room, Amelie stayed by Emilee’s bedside the whole time.

Belen also rushed over, and when she saw Emilee lying weakly on the bed, she was surprised and opened her

mouth widely.

“What happened? How could this…?”

Belen felt heartbroken and couldn’t finish her sentence.

“It’s okay. I’ve already reported it to the police. The person who kidnapped Emilee must be punished accordingly.”

Amelie said firmly.

He ran into Jeff as he was ready to turn and leave.

“Why are you here?”

from her.”
